Sattahip: Teen mamasan arrested offering thirteen year old for sex

Senior police officers and the Sattahip district chief conducted a sting operation at a downtown Sattahip karaoke lounge that was a front for sex with children under the age of 15. 

 

In the sting one girl aged just 13 was given 1,500 baht. She gave her mamasan, the owner of the lounge aged only 19, 300 baht and went with the officer to a hotel for short time sex. 

 

This was the cue for the arrests to begin. 

 

The bust happened at the Nong Jazz karaoke lounge at the Thong Thip market in Sattahip, Chonburi. 

 

Hawa or Prin Samansin, 19, was arrested for selling women into sex.

Six women aged 13 to 19 were arrested and taken in for questioning. 

 

The raid was mounted by three separate agencies with policemen of the rank of major general present.

He reported he was there to extend his visa....seems the directions the taxi guy gave him were wrong...

The photo was taken in the police station. Probably there to report a crime committed against him.

 

Kaaoke bar in Sattahip? Almost certain to be for the exclusive use of Thai Navy guys.

He's studying the form guide, clueless to whats going on. Hopefully he wasn't there to do anything with an underage person. Hopefully the underage girl isnt trafficked again.

Same as you find many University girls in massage shops in the cities.. parents can't afford the tuition fees!

It's not a cvompetition! I have visited many bars frequented by farangs. I've never seen an under age girl in any of them. I have visited a few Thai Karaoke bars and the majority of girls in them are very young. It's a Thai thing. Plus it's well documented and common knowledge.

Come on , use your common sense. The Thai population is more than 60 million , westerners here are not even 1 % . 
Of course there are more local predators. And many cases are being reported in the local Thai news.

Poverty and 3rd world living exists all over the world.
