why should they keep the booze ban?

Have you got any idea how many people are employed in the drink and entertainment industry?

Are you happy for all of those people to have no money just to appease your vindictiveness?

You do realise that if there was no booze, golf clubs would go under around the world

There is a massive social aspect to every golf club that includes dinners, galas, restaurants and even just a few on the 19th hole!

Haha.

I am happy. Not caring less about booze is not being vindictive.  Just the opposite, I am so glad to  all get out and enjoy a great round of golf.

Will book for Siam CC next week beautiful course no booze needed to have a good time thanks.

Apart from Thailand and South Africa, how many other countries have banned alcohol due to COVID?

key words here are further notice.

The article says until 31st May at the earliest. I'm not sure what to believe.

Yes i would do it , but i love my Thai family. And now its not easy take whole family to my country. So i need to stay and support, because nobody got any help from government.

You could always just walk away, plenty of other countries with ready and waiting hungry families.

.......... and some of these countries allow you to buy alcohol whenever you like.

true that, but in most cases it seems the announcements announcing forthcoming announcements generally play out eventually.

Before people start celebrating about these easing of restrictions I would hold fire for now since other very reputable sources are stating that the PM has actually extended all existing measures until 31st May which includes keeping all low risk businesses including restaurants closed.

I don't think anybody is celebrating, au contraire

I have a newfound appreciation for on line porn.

That is perfectly ok and highly supported. It will keep the joints flexible ????

Why no alcohol?

Because Thai people like to drink alcohol in a big group with his friends. They won't drink alone.

Anyway, Buddhists aren't supposed to drink alcohol in the first place.

Okay, Mum.

Freedom is being lectured on your bad habits and being told what's good for you... by people who are invariably behaving badly behind closed doors.

????Freedom's just another word for nothin' left to lose
Nothin', don't mean nothin' hon' if it ain't free, no no
And, feelin' good was easy, Lord, when he sang the blues
You know, feelin' good was good enough for me
Good enough for me and my Bobby McGee????

The list of 'opening' looks good.

Everything important will be opened on May 3 except they should allow interprovincial bus travel as well.

What about the beach they don't mention? Similar to parks to be open on May 3?

Intentionally not mentioned, probably up to province governor

Great to see golf will reopen can't wait to hit the links.

Me too Bud, but don't forget your Province may not approve it yet. They can make their own regulations stronger than the Govt Guidelines(but they can't make them weaker) Fingers crossed for Sunday tho....

But I'm not Thai, and I like to drink alone in a room with a locked door.

Do you think that they have the resources to assign an officer to everyone to ensure they don't drink in a group?

In fact, there was one case of a drinking session where the infected person infected all his friends.
