The thing is that really not up to Thailand to say yes or no, China says Open Thailand will open covid-19  or not, and beside, Thailand desperately need tourists to come back and spend big and if it will cost more sics and death, so be it...

Indeed, Thailand want Tourists back BADLY!  There is no restriction from China side as we speak.  No exit restrictions for Chinese nationals to leave the country.  As soon as flights are open from China to thailand, Chinese will come.  If no flights, Chinese will have to come through laos via land.

Thai Embassy visa section opened in China from May 7 2020.  Visa section Beijing open every Thursday and Monday.

Awright, green shoots. About time. Tourists are badly wanted back in Bkk. Sad to see all these big hotels padlocked.

And once the Chinese have broken the ice flights should start to other destinations too. I need to get the 'ell back home.

Usually the Thai word is khaek, refers to Indians, Arabs etc. Its slang and can be a little derogatory but often the word that is used.

That's it, there are khaeks, jaeks, falang (often with the derogatory prefix ai !)……….. and Khon Thai!

This is bad news, not good news.

I expect them to wear a mask at all times and keep social distancing,
