Unable to think outside of his bubble.
Instead of thinking, planning and realizing a well thought-out rapid test system for those arriving, only free hot air comes out of his mouth.

Your use of yesterdays headline to underline that it was only 44 cases in a market of 4000 people is much appreciated,

Likewise, 45,000 nucleic acid tests underway. That's how you handle this, not political rallies.

Why doesn't he just come straight out with it and say that farangs aren't going to be welcome any longer?

Correct. Pure bigotry.

Why do farang's in Pattaya keep feeding Thai citizens?

Their government doesn't give a fig about you or your business. While you feed their citizens they work out the next pocket lining scheme with their Chinese chums.

Saving face over the fact they dont expect westerners to arrive any time soon.

Odd how if you claim the disease is spread by dirty westerners it comes back to haunt you.

We know the real reason westerners were blamed. They needed a scapegoat if the virus got out of control.

Cant blame the Chinese though. Thailand owes them too much money.

Arrival anywhere. Which sensible country is going to let them in?

The Xenophobe big mouth racist should push to have it based on where people are coming from, how long they stayed there, not nationalities. Or perhaps if a foreigner has already had it. China is under siege sinking again, and if this nitwit believes they and that country full of government liars are ok then he needs a brain scan to see how much of a brain he actually has.

The whole thing is getting pretty ridiculous.

From a country which lives to a large extent from tourism to a country which wants to choose who can come in.
Yes, the whole world will accept any obstacle to go to Thailand, especially the rich and wealthy tourists want a difficult travel. LOL

At what point will he choose who can come in?  If someone has met all the requirements for the airline and arrived here will Immigration turn them back?  On what grounds?  If they claim for their loss of holiday and their inconvenience from their insurance company for what has happened what will happen?  What airline will risk bringing people here with these uncertain and ever changing announcements?

Tourists /foreigners will be restricted to certain locations? So i guess if you have Thai family in Nakhon Nowhere you are SOL . I guess you will be locked in a room in Phuket and have a guide following everywhere . Sorry stupid idea.  No one is going to bother with the hassle of flights, likely more visa hassles, etc, etc. The first Southeast Asian country that opens 100% has my vote.

Generally, when someone writes "sarcasm alert" he or she is saying that what he or she wrote is sarcasm.

Why all the complaining? It isn't like Thailand is the only place to live in SEA. Instead of complaining spend some time investigating welcoming countries. Trump blocked people from China, Brazil and a few other countries from entering the US. Makes sense. If you have a herd of cattle you don't want to import a bull from another country that might have a disease that could affect/infect the entire herd.

Instead of spending so much negative time complaining about Thailand and their rules rather spend positive time looking for an alternative to what you don't like.
