Cheap(er) Covid Tests for Travel - Any available?

Featured Replies

Dear Forum.

Hope everyone is doing well in these testing times.

I just wondering if anyone has had a Covid-19 test in order to enter another country and, if so, how much did you pay. It seems that they are only valid for 3 days and they are around 6-7,000 THB. Does anyone know of any other places that offer a cheaper rate?

Cheers, Jon.

Well, I am not sure street vendors at Nana sell them.

But yes, that is approx. the cost for a real Covid test at a professional medical facility.  After all, we are only talking about your health and the truth.

Where?

Many hospitals but check the price first and assume that the so called 5 star hospitals will be expensive beyond belief.

2,500 THB at King Chulalongkorn Memorial for the swab, plus initial screening at 200 THB and possible x-ray at 1,050 THB (4 months ago). Result in 1-2 days.
