Hello my dear friends, 

My car got keyed on the roof and left side of the body panel. 

I've captured the action on my motion sensor cctv and it was my neighbor.

It isn't a deep scratch and possibly can be cargo waxed out. 

 

I would actually like to give them a two time big slap on their face, yell at them, and Demand some money... 

 

If I inform the police, they might just say wax it off and the end..

I gotta get my rage outter my system. 

 

What would you peeps do if u were on me shoes? 

 

I'd let it go but make sure that they know you know who did it and let them understand that this time you'll be gracious enough not make a big deal out of it, but only for this time, Win-win...

yeah...what is the history of your dealings with your neighbor ?

With the cops you can still demand money. Slapping and fighting will only make it worse.

 

I do wonder what you did to make you neighbors do this. Usually things don't happen without provocation.

You could always report them to the police, but what made them angry enough to do this in the first place?

Call your car insurance company to make a claim. Show them the video and let them decide to sue or not.

Sound reasoning 

Visit your neighbor for a friendly and amiable chat.

 

Tell him (quietly) that someone has damaged your car. Let him know you’re telling him this because of your close friendship and you want him to be careful...as there are vandals about.

 

Then tell him (with just the trace of an evil smile) that the wax on your car contains a very powerful…but very slow acting toxin that is released when the surface is scratched. A special farang poison so lethal that the slightest contact will ultimately result in a painful and lingering death. Of course you don't worry because you have an antidote...but the person who damaged your car is in deep trouble.

 

Remind him again to be careful, tell him again how much you value his friendship...and return home. Make sure to smile and wave whenever you see him.

True, big possibility of revenue, possibly including actions on your family. Don't go that route.

Unless its mindless vandalism, the sort whereby some young tool keys a nice BMW in a car park out of jealousy, I just don’t see anyone keying a car without some form of aggravation. 

 

Thus: WHAT is the back story OP ? - what have you done to upset your neighbour. 

 

Music too loud? (ignored complaints to turn it down)

Barking dogs all day/night? (ignored complaints about them)

Parking dispute (though the cam seems to have caught the incident in front of your house)

 

What makes a Thai man key their neighbours car???? 

Its either mental instability etc or its a repercussion for something.

It would cost them 20000 thb if they did this to my Benz. But fortunately, nobody dares to do this to a German car in Thailand, because big problems waiting for sure ❤️

Yes, the whole story would be good.  However, not sure he is with us anymore as he has not answered.  Hope its just a loss of computer and phone privilege's and not a loss of well.....

Give your landlord 30 days notice and then move away.  Wait.  You didn't want to rent because you thought you were going to make boatloads of money off your house?
