Anyone going to Thailand now must have serious business there. No person with a healthy brain will go sit there in quarantine andgo through all this joke

So..

how about allowing legitimate long term 0 visa holders the same opportunity and same entry conditions to return to Thailand so they can undertake the quarantine and testing regime, and eventually return to their families in Thailand and continue spending money here..

The Chinese tourists are welcomed with open arms into Thailand, from the very country where this virus originated and contaminated the world population..

but the innocent O visa holders are the ones being discriminated against, and prohibited from coming back to their families..

Well done Thailand..!!

I suggest anyone considering coming to Thailand thinks about this - you, as a filthy foreigner have to be tested but the Thai who might end up sitting next to you for many hours doesn't need to be tested at all.

So when they closed the borders and don't allow anyone in - you guys complain. When he spoke against foreigners - you guys complain. Now that he says it's safe to open Thailand for tourists what do you guys do? Oh, yes, complain

Its just a political stepping stone. As others have said. By December Q will be at 10 days for everyone except China/Sing/Kor/AUS/NZ etc as they will be No Q and test on arrival.

ASQ hotels and quarantine will be in place for everyone else for a while yet.

I doubt these 40 Chinese are real tourists.

 

Seriously, who wants to go through all those strict requirements before coming to Thailand and then have another 14 day quarantine and Covid test again when they arrive in Thailand?

 

They are most probably retirees or investors with existing properties in Thailand.
