Where is any evidence ? does anyone think for a moment if it was there we wouldnt all know  ? the MSM wouldnt have stopped running the stories with the evidence... or  it would be used for electoral purpose and ammunition no ?  Truth is if there was anything that damning or truly criminal it would have been used already... Either Trump is as clean as he claims or ALL his opponents are too dumb, incompetent  or just plain wrong..or ... Is Trump just a smarter tactical business, judicial and political genius than all those who oppose him , which is it ?

And it’s not the president or the party in power that really says what goes because they’re mere string puppets! It’s the people with the truly fat bank accounts behind the scenes that do!

I am not a fan of either of the two men, but, I think Biden will win quite comfortably.

 

Covid has finished Trump off. Or rather, Trump has finished himself off with his horrible reaction, attitude etc. towards the Covid situation. 

 

If there had been no Covid, I think it would have been an extremely close race.

Another scenario is Trump refusing to leave the White House, and eventually being removed in handcuffs or a straitjacket.

Many on the Right (perhaps accurately) describe the USA as a constitutional federal republic, rather than a democracy. The Electoral College is constitutionally designed to prevent domination by the majority.

As far as I know, federal republic is a form of government whereas democracy is an ideology that helps shape how the government is elected. I also question the relevance of the 1804 amendment to the 21st century. This just my opinion and I realistically know it wouldn't matter much. Just to conclude that most countries have moved away from EC like France, Spain and even South Korea. US and few undeveloped countries stand out as the countries that still have the EC. Quite stunning. This is off topic and I will end here.

Sorry about using your post Lacessit but I have got this trumpie on ignore, so cannot respond directly to his post, however, he doesn't seem to have read post through to the end, especially as my post included a quote from Thomas Jefferson himself who suggested that the constitution needed to be looked at as time went on, because of the changing world.

 

So it was Jefferson himself who said that changes could be necessary as time went on.

 

Like his bit about "God-given rights" because that covers a multitude of sins, pun intended!!! And laughed at "the eternal truths" bit!!!
