Pick-up covered in pictures: Distraught father just wants to see his son

Sanook reported that a Chinese businessman in Chiang Mai parked his pick-up outside his wife's family's home in Mae Rim after she left him and took his four year old son.

Signs in Thai plastered all over the pick-up sad "Jacob where are you son? Your dad misses you so much".

Father Jiang C. was sitting waiting outside wearing a top screen printed with the picture of his boy. He waited for hours and calls went unanswered.

The family responded by calling the police to have him moved on for being a nuisance.

But eventually the mother came out with the little boy for ten minutes so the father could see him behind a wall. He was denied a cuddle but took some pictures with his phone.

An interpreter said that Jiang, 31, just wanted some justice and was prepared to come to an agreement with his wife so he could see his son for a few hours a day.

Twenty days ago the couple had a big row and the wife fled with their son.

Jiang went to the media for help on October 13th saying he had married his wife in China many years ago and they had just one son.

He said he had given her assistance in starting her own businesses and he was a fruit exporter.

He said that he was a foreigner but his rights as a father should be respected too.

The vindictiveness of some women using children as a weapon has no bounds - least from my own experience

Let's just hope he doesn't drive it like that...

Wow!. We really agree on that.

Feel sorry for the son he must be really confused, time the parents acted like adults and sorted this out.

These two "adults" need to get their priorities right.

The damage being done to the child as they use him as a weapon is awful.

It appears to be only the mother causing problems.

I believe you mean 'her' and not 'they'.

Not letting a father see his children appears to be normal behaviour for many women all over the world.

The guy needs to understand his pleading and begging is exactly what the woman wants.

He should just walk away and have more children with a nicer woman.

The advice my UK solicitor gave me when my Brit wife played the same game with our 4 Brit kids.

Without knowing the circumstances I did not wish to apportion blame.

Why is everyone jumping to the conclusion that the mother is the one at fault in this particular situation when there is no evidence of that?

How can you say that, when you have absolutely no idea of the situation.

Who ever is to blame does not matter, a child should never be used as a weapon against the other parent.

Which is part of the problem.

Men always support women over other men, even when they know the woman is in the wrong.

Which is why women behave in the cruel and vindictive way they do with no risk of punishment or censor.

Anyway, I have no interest in reading posts by men who want to 'believe women'. Goodbye.

Because that is our life experience.

Actually I believe both parents should have the right to see their children.

I certainly would never prevent a mother from seeing her kids, no matter what I thought of her, or what she had done to me.

Harming a parent (and the children) by denying visiting, to get revenge or punish on whatever excuse, is almost exclusively a woman's game.

If you knew anything of Britmans posting history you would know that the woman is always to blame, 100%, no questions asked.

experience and the overwhelming sexism of the law.

Getting the same BS lately at home, got very evident to me that she makes both my and my son's life terror if things not go the way she wants. Regardless to myself, heard this story so many times within and outside Thailand. This while the guys were of all ages and usually no money issues either.

I just figured that the drama at home can't be good for my son too, so I be moving into a new condo soon, and will send her back to her parents. She won't be seeing that one coming her way for sure as she thinks to control me with my son now.

They are very good actors, seemingly to be so polite and sweet, so much depth and interesting, until you really know them and they got gains.

True but in reality it is woman doing stuff like this in 96.4% of all cases.
