He had had too much to drink and was completely delusional. Going to take a very long time to get there then. At 384,400km comes in just shy of four years.

  • What are they are going to install, electrical connections for  Noodles shops?

why they need to go to the moon if they have been "living" there since 2014 ????????????

I fully expect this daft space program to be scrapped in the coming months for something more practical.

The only things that comes to my mind are possibilities for massive graft and corruption.

Astute.

With added bonuses of 'gain face' and 'please Chinese masters'.

Not bad going for a nation that still hasn't mastered basic indoor plumbing or electric wiring.

Crossy can help with the wiring and he has a work permit ????

They are doing similar stupidities like India, showing false power when they don't have any resources to feed the hungry(wait and see what happens to the price of things next year!) and  menstruating  females in India can't afford tampons,.....The farmers are at sit down on the streets protesting against corruption, same situation is here but underplayed!..If I had 3 Billion to play with,I would normalise the domestic tourism, open up IT learning centres, English  language schools, clean up the country, reintroduce Buddhism philosophy in an acceptable form of learning!

Is it April 1st already? Maybe I need to buy a new calendar!

I don't know--- buy some boosters and put one of the subs to good use.

I'm opposed to this for any country, including the USA, my own country.

We should not even think about going to another planet or even our moon until we've learned to live both socially and environmentally compatible on this one.

Our mothers told us all this when we were young: "You can't go out and play until you've cleaned up your room."

To do so before we've straightened things out on this planet, especially with the goal of exporting humans to other planets, should not be called "colonizing"; it should be called "metastasizing." ????

The spacecraft will travel at 11 kilometres per hour to the moon, before slowing to enter lunar orbit at 2kph.

Not even fast enough for brake failure proper that ain't .. a luckee charm against all those nasty scary monsters up there might be in order as well ..

Earth to moon distance approximately 384,400 km. Do the math, that's about 35,000 hours or 1,458 days or 4 years *one way*. Hope they have room for all that sticky rice and naam plao. What a fa*rking joke, a country which can't even keep millions of drunks off the roads or supply reliable electricity and internet to all its citizens proposes to pull off this pie-in-the-sky hi-tech publicity stunt. 555 very funny ????

They would need a second rocket just to carry the Lao Khao 1458 days each way multiplied by say

4 ass-thai-naughts and say a day for sight seeing multiplied by 1 bottle per day each is 11668 bottles or 972 Cases....

11 kilometres per hour to the moon?  So very slow.  Then it will only take a bit over 4 years to get there.
 Okay.... LOL ????

Did I sleep too long? Is my phone wrong? Is this really April 1?

Beat me to it!  I thought it was Christmas yesterday, not All Fools Day.

And lets hope the whole cabinet is on board with expensive tickets!

What they going to fuel it with? Hot air no doubt. They have enough of it

Xenon Ion Thruster.    Okay once you are in interplanetary space.  But they will need chemical rockets to get up there first, and to boost out of Earth Orbit.

They even were not able to enforce the motorcycle ban on the sidewalk.

They were not able to use an international standard of +/- balance of 0.1mm.

The were not able to put all the cables in the underground.

So, why do they believe to fly to the moon??

how do you respond to this??

With derision and laughter.

At 11 kmph it will be the slowest moving space vehicle I have ever heard about, and take a seriously long time to get there !

Every weeks thai news look like a first april,

but it's not a joke...
