PM walks out of parliament chamber in apparent protest at not being listened to

Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha abruptly cut short his explanation of the southern economic zone project and walked out of the parliament chamber on Thursday afternoon, apparently upset that a group of MPs were not paying attention to him.

“I think I will stop here because no one is listening, but laughing. That is enough, thank you,” said a disappointed prime minister before he left the chamber during the censure debate this afternoon.

The prime minister took to the floor to make a clarification, after Deputy Interior Minister Nipon Boonyamanee defended an allegation, by Kao Klai MP Prasertpong Sornnuwat, that he abused his power in the interests of his people and himself, by forcing villagers in Jana district of the southern province of Songkhla to sell their land in areas covered by the southern economic zone project.

Smart move Sir. In the end you are dealing with uneducated school children. My school teacher used to do the same. He eventually came back after 10 minutes or so. After that everyone was quiet.

I just don´t know here. I would like to hear this and see a video of it happening. We are very well aware of how it looks on the government meeting here in Thailand. People from different parties is sitting in their smartphones, staring down the floor or actually talking to eachother or sleeping during another person is up speaking. It that is what happened I agree totally with the guy.

If he walked out in anger becasue people didn´t agree with him and thried to talk back to him, than he is his usual charming self that just can´t hack it in society.

Like I say, we need a video to make a fair judgement. Not like all poster before me, just judging because they want to be in the clique that hates.

Time for some "Attitude-Adjustment" for the opposition.

He's always had thin-skin, and thinks he deserves respect he never earned; he stole it.

Is he the worst faux-PM Thailand has ever had? No. Is he the most incompetent, unsophisticated and poorly educated? Yep.

I can't even stand a sham opposition, and yet he pretends to be the leader of the "Thai style" democracy.

"That is enough"

I wonder if he used the words "por laew"

????????????????

The real story here is: < Deputy Interior Minister Nipon Boonyamanee defended an allegation, by Kao Klai MP Prasertpong Sornnuwat, that he abused his power in the interests of his people and himself, by forcing villagers in Jana district of the southern province ofSongkhla to sell their land in areas covered by the southern economic zone project.>
The land was then resold to the Chana industrial project at a massive mark-up.

This government, like many others are nought but a bunch of leeches.

Whenever one sees any parliamentary discussion it appears that around 90% of the chairs are completely unoccupied, and a third of the people present are asleep ! What sort of government is running this country when obviously most of the participants can't even be bothered to turn up for meetings ????

I guess walking out like a child is better than grabbing a machete and attacking someone within reach, which wouldn’t be too far out of line with how some scorned locals are known to react.

Mr Prayuth how does it feel that you are not being heard?? The whole country want that you hear them but they can't go away.. If you don't listen to the people why should they listen to you??

Don't forget your bat and ball. What a bloody sook!Quick lock the door so he can't come back and vote him out while you're at it.

You think it was a "smart move", that after making himself pm, he is unable to do anything but walk off?

Moving on. What's happened to "Mr 100" has he been reincarnated?

The cowardly general flees again; meanwhile, his thugs beat conscripts to make them do what they want.

Your not in the army now, they don't have to.  Any meeting I've been at in Thailand (mainly parents meetings at school) it's always the same, very little attention to the speaker.
