Songkran is Irritating

This is going to be a rant. I’ve lived here for a while and every year this country just stops. Frankly I find it irritating and stupid.

 

My car broke down over the weekend. Evidently I have to wait at least a week to do anything about it and considering the BMW dealer here is slow as heck, I probably won’t be able to drive it for at least a month!

 

I have had issues receiving a package and it’s stuck in customs at the airport. The office there won’t be open until next week.

 

I just find the whole thing ridiculous. I wouldn’t be surprised if the police and hospitals closed too.

 

This is one of those days that make me want to find another country to live in.

He seems to be beside himself with frustration and may even be looking for a new home.

Most countries shut down over there New years celebrations. The UK closes for nearly 2 weeks with Xmas. Why shouldn't Thailand?
