Yes, so are  people who organised the ceremony : the only thing to was to euthanize this dog

I like dogs, but not dangerous dogs

Did the dog understood what was the ceremony organised for ? I doubt ...????

after they ate hot dogs for karma

Owner probably used to beat the dog trying to control it. Unfortunately for the owner Pit Bulls don't take lightly to beatings. They're not some weak soi dog.

This is sad for the dog, the dead owner must have teased the dog a little too much. But now the dog will fined it easier to kill his next owner. Sad to say he should be put down.

Think it is more likely that the owner did not establish himself as the leader of the pack, and when challenged for that role, did not adequately respond. Leading to a fight for leadership that he lost.

Don't take a dog if you do not understand how the animal clicks.

That dog should immediately be killed, but in a nicer way than its owner was.

Anyone stupid enough to want one should be pit in jail.

Perhaps it should change its name from 'Giant' to '007'. It does seem licensed to kill.

Amazing Thailand ,

Im surprised the clowns at T.A.T. havent used this to promote Thailand?

Put it on their tourism brochures/websites etc.....Im sure it will have the millionaires even more willing to come to visit the country!

Seriously? A dog kills its owner? It is then taken to a temple to "apologise" to its owner who he killed?

Only in Thailand.....................thank god. This mutt should have been put to sleep straightaway. Im a dog lover, have a dog now.....

Just when I think Thailand cant get more ludicrous?............i  just log in here to see more "sensational news".? Amazing......it sure is.

Read the title ;

"pitbull taken to the temple to apologize "

second chance ? the dog is  not even conscious it has killed somebody, don't think of it as an human being , it's a dog, it thinks like a dog

I'm sure a dog-friendly monk will be able to perform a laying-on of hands and explain the situation to the dog.

If not, we might end up with a monk who has donated himself to the canine cause.

So now the dog has apologized.

What's next? Community service?

Compensation to the desist relatives is more tradition.

did the owner accept the pit bull's apologie?

No. He wanted THB500 and a wai.

That's a nasty way to die. My condolences to the family...but not the dog.

It just never ceases to AMAZE the land of smiles and Stupidity, the dog said sorry ok all good naughty dog, not only does the dog need to be put down but every idiot involved in the dog still been alive

Amazing Thailand

The Animal should have just been shot in the Head on the Day of the Attack.

The Dog has the taste of Human flesh now, and will surely attack again, as it knows he can get away with it.

There is no such thing as a bad dog, only bad owners.
The instrument of Karma takes many forms.

Yes and it is little surprise the dog attacked its owner considering the treatment the dog had been receiving from its 'master' (confined in a small box sometimes for days at a time).  I also heard it was a freak incident occurring as a very large thunderclap struck as the guy was handling the dog.

Giant, aged 2, the Pit Bull breed or Ban Dog that savaged its owner to death last week has been taken to his funeral in Pattaya.

He took part in a ceremony called "khor khama" in which he apologized to the corpse.

Anybody get a recording of the apology?  Just so I know that it's not a belated April Fools joke.

"Tasted just like chicken," noted Giant midway through the ceremoney.

Where is the useless basket of fruit? I thought the perpetrator always gave a basket of fruit to the unfortunate victim and is then unconditionally forgiven ????????
