Best way to make people wear them would be to say if your under 50 and don't wear one you get a years National service

The correct way to do it is through education not the threat of imprisonment.

Problem being that no amount of education will convince some that they should accept Sinovac when there are far better options. 

 

Same with AZ, which I'd take but would be hesitant to recommend to my young daughter. 

 

When those are your only options.... Maybe the do need the prison incentive. 

This kind of law will almost certainly jeopardise the supply of vaccine.

It’s only early days as far as these so called vaccines are concerned and if people are being forced to take a certain brand I can see some lawyers cashing up if things go pear shaped down the track.

It will be at least two years before everyone has been vaccinated in Thailand the vaccine has been available since January now two weeks from June and less than 2 million vaccinated out if a population of 70 million

Better idea. Mandate vaccine passports on mobile apps. No vaccine, no entry to most public facilities where the refuseniks would put others at risk, of course with valid medical exemptions. This is all a ways out at this rate majority vaccination will take more than a year for sure

On the morning news, Channel 34, I just finished watching a report being made on the Actors and Actresses as well as television media personalities taking the jab this past day.  This must be a PR news piece showing the Thai public that their superstars and favorite personalities are taking the vaccine and so they should also.

 

New commercial shown as well.  Man walking in the local Talad with his left sleeve rolled up showing his band aid from his vaccination has a Covid Figure smack him, and the man then knocks out Covid.  Again with the "Vaccinate and help knock out Covid"  Lots of PR being done.  That tells me that the public is not buying what the Government is trying to sell them, ergo why Burriram has made a fine and jail time a penalty it appears.
