An upbeat health and deputy prime minister Anutin Charnvirakul declared yesterday that there was plenty of vaccine against Covid-19 for everyone.

His comments come as Thailand prepares their June 7th vaccine rollout after a number of less than auspicious false starts.

Asked by Thai Rath if that meant AstraZeneca for all, the DMP said that Thailand has plenty of different brands of vaccine to choose from - people will get what is best for them.

Asked about reports that a third dose might be on the cards, Anutin said that he would be following the advice of Thai healthcare professionals and researchers who are currently studying the matter, reported Daily News.

If they recommend a third jab, that is precisely what will be done for the sake of the health of the people in Thailand, he declared.

People's health is the number one priority, he stressed.

I really don't understand the logic behind saying something that everyone who is listening knows is a complete lie. Must be a cultural thing...

If so why the delay or is this more BS, while people are sick and dying  ?

Those pigs are out again,  PS  not  BS  !!

What is interesting... in his speech... is not the "vaccine orgy"... we're all laughing, indeed.

No.

It's the third dose.

Young people without any health issue should understand that once they put their fingers into the "vaccination" process... it will be 1, then 2, then 3 jabs.... and perhaps even more.

This has been confirmed by the pharmaceuticals and their CEOs (Pfizer, Moderna, J&J, AstraZeneca) and it has been confirmed already by several countries :

-UK (the first one, in september for people at risk)

-United Arab Emirates

So.. think carefully.

I ran into my neighbour yesterday. Hadn't seen him for a while and he's sporting a great tan, and when I asked he said they'd been following the sun around the planet living at beach resorts for 3 months. His daughter is a TV actress and they're clearly in the hi-so category. When I asked how he was managing that, he told me that the Government had arranged UK AZ vaccines for his whole family and their friends 3 months ago, and apparently quarantine doesn't include them when they return! There's "them", and then there's the rest of us. TiT!!

June 7th with probably be the same as the other false starts, just more BS from Anutin.

Difficult to know who comes up with the most BS, him or Prayut.

Any journalist with at least 1% of integrity would have stood up and asked him exactly what brands of vaccine are available right now and where instead of this sycophantic cut and paste claptrap.

Truth is not a cultural value here. Only status counts and the foundation on which it builds is appearances.

An upbeat health and deputy prime minister Anutin Charnvirakul declared yesterday that there was plenty of vaccine against Covid-19 for everyone.

How?  For the Astrazeneca vaccine:

1) 12 doses per vial instead of the recommended 10

2) 2 doses 16 weeks apart

I have to give him or whoever came up with this plan credit for squeezing out every drop and extending the supply.

Agreed. I think the likes of Anutin actually like telling bare faced lies because the fact that nobody in attendance challenges them just gives them an even greater feeling of power. It's like, you all know I'm lieing and still you dare not challenge me.

Of course, it doesn't go down so well outside the country and this curious phenomenon is one of many reasons that Thailand has acquired the (affectionate??) nickname throughout Asia as Lieland.

("An upbeat health and deputy prime minister Anutin Charnvirakul declared yesterday that there was plenty of vaccine against Covid-19 for everyone.")

Reminds me in some ways of statements from the American "cowboy philosopher" Will Rogers.  He'd said that there was plenty of ice for everyone.  The poor got their ice during the winter time and the rich got their ice during the summer.

The main difference seems to be that "I believed Will Rogers".'

Um, where are the others.  Who has them Anutin?  I thought not....try again, epic fail.  AZ being made in the lab and only leaving Sinovac on hand.......

There will be plenty if and when they actually arrive.

or maybe he means plenty for everyone in his status level.

This guy is the anchor of health in Thailand. Just add Water.

Another barefaced lie from Anutin.  'The government has decided that the second dose of AstraZeneca vaccines will now be administered 16 weeks after the first dose, as opposed to 10 weeks,' because of shortages.
