Just over half.... 60% are fully vaccinated. And with the Delta variant being near  the only source of new cases, both jabs are what is needed. Some optimism seen today though in UK.

It's about the hospitalizations and deaths . You can have 10.000 cases a day but no hospitalizations or deaths because of the mass vaccinations or just 4.000 cases a day and around 40 deaths a day without vaccinations and with masks rules whatever .

This is what total info indoctrination leads to. Hasn't anyone of these highly quailified gentlemen ever heard of ivermectin & co? There are alternatives to vaxx, should you really need it. Better yet is a healthy lifestyle that reduces bodyfat and keeps it low - lowcarb diet, exercise. Then your immune system will easily beat covid, alpha beta gamma & delta.

This government is a joke. We farangs may get vaccinated next year sometime. I think they are waiting until the West sends 'poorer countries' the vaccine for free. I live in the Pattaya area and the government response has been poorer than poor.

Don't need vaccine to open because like Phuket the people only had one jab most of them and one jab is the same as nothing. Need 2 to have hopefully and result. But as a thai nurse pisted she had 2 jabs and after 5 weeks she took a test and it showed that the 2 jabs had no effect and showed no sign of any antibodies building up resistance.

I doubt that, there are bigger fish to fry.  Their priorities are drawn by how much money is produced.  As cynical as I am, if it were my decision Bangkok would be the top of my list as well.  BTW, Bangkok is also the most likely center of any activism should people decide they have had enough.  Phuket just generates more money than Pattaya.  All this suggests that those in charge are still not that certain of their vaccine supply.

Where to take the vaccines from? 

Thailand's soldiers ordered them too late and even the wrong ineffective ones. 

They ordered Biontech. Astra, Moderna or Johnson. 

However, there is a long way to go between orders and deliveries. 

Maybe early 2022 if you're lucky ????

I guess the rich and influential who have the clout to cause problems for the charletans at the helm have already been fully vaccinated so remain docile.

 

What it takes is someone with clout and a real social conscience  to take a stance for the less fortunate majority who are suffering because of the idiots bungling and incredible greed...........but any such individual needs to be fearless and with enormous influence and able to stir an absolute frenzy countrywide of revolting peasants.

 

Not easy with military control, very questionable elections, human rights issues, and it deemed an offence to publish or speak the truth in person or via social media.

This guy talking out the side of his neck. I ain’t trying to take any vaccine from China or Thailand. So jab all your people in Chonburi and Pattaya and the problem will be fixed until you get what I plan to take.
