What are people paying to get vaccinated in Thailand? (I visited the country about 50 times until 2018 but haven't lived there). A friend in the Philippines says it's about $150 there. And they only have Astrazeneca and Sinovac.

3,400 THB PREPAYMENT, for Moderna, 2x, to be delivered sometime in the future.

Currently Sinovac, Sinopharm and Astrazeneca. All from the government, free. Sinopharm is available from a Royal research academy and is said to be priced at 888 baht per dose.

A very much needed clarification of the Moderna doses availability. Will the doses which were supposed to be delivered for October this year, and in many cases have been paid for up front, still be available? Or are we now expected to wait until sometime next year, with all the problems and dangers that will cause?

Hmmm.

Yes, no, maybe.

Subscriptions and payments were oversubscribed, the extent of which is vague. Could be 9 mm (seen estimated from ~ 6 mm up to 9-ish mm) doses paid, from 3.9 mm available.

Could be October (think trick or treat). Could be Christmas.

Can someone please buy a fridge (-80) to store the stuff?

Done last year.

Thailand expanded its capacity with a new cold chain room last year. Its total cold chain capacity now spans 4,070 square metres. All rooms are equipped with primary and secondary temperature alarms for enhanced product safety.

Don't jinx it, the TRC might produce another card/brown envelope for the 5 million, now 4 million doses of Moderna that are scheduled for October and take the lot, with those of us who have already paid left even more susceptible and have to wait till next year when the additional 5 million Moderna vaccines arrive to get the jab.

Hope this doesn't happen and hope we aren't one of the 1 million to miss out of the doses they literally stole from right under our noses.

Government interference has hampered the purchase of genuine vaccines that work.

Instead of using all means possible to get effective vaccines in a timely manner into Thailand they have interfered at every opportunity to slow the process down and be in total control.

Unfortunately this has come at a cost to many businesses, and ultimately peoples lives.

....and in order to extract maximum revenue.

Maybe we should look at the TRC's overseers? Or, maybe not?

Council of Ministers, aka the Cabinet, aka The Government.

TRC has a MASSIVE budget, so I guess they can afford to pay for their Moderna allotment.
