10 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines, mainly AstraZeneca and Sinovac, will be distributed across Thailand in August, with Bangkok receiving 1.25 million, according to the Public Health Ministry.

 

The vaccines also include the 1.5 million doses of Pfizer-BioNTech, received from the US government yesterday (Monday). Inoculation with the new batches are aimed at the remaining unvaccinated elderly population in Bangkok, its neighbouring provinces and other COVID-19 “Dark Red” provinces, among others.

 

750,000 doses of vaccine will be directly allocated to Bangkok’s 25 non-hospital vaccination sites each month, without going through the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA), following problems between government agencies concerning the amounts received, with an average of 1,000 doses received per day at each site.

What happened to the 1 million a day Anutin stated.....guess it's a 10 day month.

Interesting that the only firm numbers given are for the donated vaccines.

But where will the 8 mm non-donated vaccines come from? (1.5 USA, 0.5 UK).

 

And will they come in at the end of the month?

 

Falling farther and farther behind the goal of 50 mm people fully vaxxed by year-end.

That is why of all the vaccine manufacturers the only ones doing the right thing to any extent is AZ yet they are the one's getting all the bad PR usually for nothing at all, makes you think...

They are using an old abacus to calculate the numbers.  Some of the wooden beads have cracked and fallen off.  Hence the numbers bounce around all the time.

Best used-by date?  Or like vehicles that break down a month after the warranty expires? 

 

Or perhaps these age GMO vaccines.  Genetically Modified Opportunity. 

10 million a month, that means 5 million a month fully vaccinated. With this speed (if true!! and who believes them still?) we will be ready in the summer next year! and then can start all over again in August. What a mess have these clowns put us in. 

If we include all the numbers from the previous announcements than Thailand probably managed to vaccinate the complete Indochina Peninsula by now.

You don’t understand the nature of pharmaceuticals- £ billions are spent on research and development often with no viable product produced to recoup the costs at the end. When a winner hits it has to recoup ALL those other costs . And a one off year of profits has to Carry other years. Additionally a large absolute number has to be seen in context of total turnover of a huge company- its not your local mama and papa shop ! 
€20 for a cutting edge medicine developed in record time that can save millions of lives is too expensive?? If someone offered me Pfizer at £500 I’d take their hand off - what about you?

Not only this bit of GREED, I read yesterday that so far the pandemic has created an ADDITIONAL Billionaires (yes with a "b") among the pharmas.  Pure greed and now understand why they control so much of the US legislators!  Sick a#@holes!

 

And the ORDEAL continues. A couple days ago they told us to vaccinate 80% Bangkokians in August.

This is a 180 degree change... AGAIN... Not easy to read the daily news with a healthy brain.

Now its Anutin's "loaves and fishes" moment, see if he can turn 1 million doses into 10 million. Or maybe instead of turning water into wine he can turn water into vaccine.

So what....they are running a business and they need to pay high salaries to the experts who are coming up with a vaccine to save our "entitled" asses.  Everyone wants to go to heaven, but no one wants to die.  Nothing is free on this planet~!  Unless you are an illegal alien from Mexico entering the USA.

Complete breakdown of that 10 million, please.  How many Sino___, how many AZ, and how many of those vaccines that actually work against the Delta variant?

Yet another announcement. If I added up all the doses from announcements, it feels like Thailand will have 500 million doses very soon.

2 mm donated from US (1.5 mm/Pfizer) and UK (415 k/AZ)

 

Remainder: Sinovac (think there's 10.9 mm on order, these usually come in ~ 2 mm batches, think some are due in August)

 

AZ ??? Seems like they can do 2.5 mm ~ 5 mm, but hard to gauge given no transparency.

That's already happening--- Israel (who has the most up to date data) has now said it wants to give 3rd Jab- first to the  all over 60 , maybe  latter full population.
