webfact
Picture: Naew Na The rich and now former cop known as Jo Ferrari or Chief Jo at the center of a case that has shocked Thailand was ordered held for the next 12 days along with six subordinates. Naew Na reported that bail was opposed for Pol Col Thitisan Utthanaphon in the case of the death of 24 year old Jirapong Thanapat at Muang Nakhon Sawan police station in the north of Thailand on August 5th. A video showed the drug suspect's head being wrapped in six plastic bags as officers tried to get information or possibly even extort money. He died and a hospital said the cause of death was drugs though they now say a fuller report is due. Jo is denying everything saying that the man died because of an overdose, despite the damning video evidence. He said as he was taken to the police station scene of crime: "I was only doing my job and didn't mean to hurt anyone. That's the truth" Asked about the video he could only say: "I forgive the person that shared it." In further developments chief Jo's right hand man Pol Lt Thoranin Maswanna surrendered to police in Phetchaburi on Thursday and has now been ordered held with the six others in Nakhon Sawan. Naew Na reported that Jo looked exhausted and pale after a five hour grilling from a senior officer who they called Big Mai. Chief of the Royal Thai Police Gen Suwat Chaengyodsuk has taken the case out of the hands of the Nakhon Sawan police and given it to the Crime Suppression Division. He has promised no favors to those involved in the death of Jirapong. Meanwhile other investigations continue in the case related to army involvement in the arrest and a National Anti-Corruption Commission probe into the assets of Jo Ferrari. He has 29 cars - many luxury models - in his name. -- © Copyright ASEAN NOW 2021-08-28 - Whatever you're going through, the Samaritans are here for you - Follow ASEAN NOW on LINE for breaking COVID-19 updates 2

Popular Post Mr Meeseeks
It's an open and shut case but the Thai Police are the most corrupt and criminal organisation in Thailand so I will not be surprised to see the charges reduced and no real justice done as is normally the case here. If there was no video then this would all be able to be swept conveniently under the carpet. They will always protect one of their own, even murderers and there's historical evidence to prove that. 23

In cases like this I wonder whether the hospital seniors and autopsy seniors have been seriously intimidated and are very frightened for themselves and their family members, therefore they say exactly what they have been instructed to say and nothing more. Koh Tao being a case in point - every one involved was told what to say and any hard evidence such as DNA and CCTV was destroyed, the result was 4 victims and the local thugs go off scott free - case closed When the defence wanted samples of the DNA that was used to convict they were told it was used up - there was nothing left - complete B S 11

Mickeymaus
"Asked about the video he could only say: "I forgive the person that shared it."" This is such a nice gesture. Okay but now this case should be closed and please don't annoy this great Jo Ferrari anymore. An exceptional police man who was only doing his duty. Not even the victim ever complained. Popular Post seajae
a lot of top cops and govt honchos will be sweating on this case as it has the abilty to expose many of them for their corrupt ways if it actually goes ahead so that how these people make all their extra money is out out in the open. With the video evidence there should be no way he can be found not guilty but as we all know the govt/police etc are all very corrupt so will go out of their way to make the charge dissapear, if this does happen the world will once again see Thailand for what it really is, a corruption paradise for the well connected. Getting bail after murdering someone should not even be possible but again we will see just how pathetic thai laws really are if they do allow him or the lackies that helped him to be released 6

Popular Post Sydebolle
In Udon Thani a culprit was handed down the death sentence for killing two people. I assume that Joe Ferrari should write his testament; all assets for which he cannot prove legal source, should be sold off and the money to be turned over to Human Rights Watch Thailand. The court proceedings including the execution of this little Sweetheart of the Royal Thai Police should be live on TV - maybe then it might sink in, what it means to live in such a corrupt slime called Thailand 2021. If I hear "I was only doing my job and didn't mean to hurt anyone. That's the truth" or commenting on the source which went public with the CCTV clip "I forgive the person that shared it" I could vomit. What a soulless pr1ck among tens of thousands of soulless, money hungry, brutal, law breaking pr1cks. Get rid of him and his likes and Thailand would move a huge leap forward ............ By the way, did anyone check on the shack and the transportation media of Joe Ferrari's bosses?
