anyone see a connection

Yes I see the connection. But someone with less than a few brain cells will be along in a minute to state that Thailand is doing/has done swimmingly well compared to western nations despite testing a FRACTION of the populace.

I wish we were all as smart as you. But if I compare the Covid deaths with western countries, Thailand did prety good.

It’s official, Thailand is literally the the most efficient country in the world at administering vaccines…..they are so efficient that they can project themselves into the future to administer vaccines today that they won’t be receiving until October.

Trash to treasure: Thailand makes Covid-19 protective gear out of upcycled bottles

SAMUT PRAKAN, Thailand, Sept 3 (Reuters) - With an abundance of plastic waste but a scarcity of personal protective equipment (PPE), Thailand is turning trash into treasure by upcycling bottles into protective clothing for people at risk of coronavirus infection.

I don’t understand how anyone could entertain for a moment the idea of believing these numbers.

The UK managed 600k jabs in a day on only 2 occasions. The rest of the time it was between 400k to 500k.

It is completely absurd.

Good to see Thailand pushing ahead with it's, albeit belated, vaccination campaign. I guess it is down to supply from here on in.

Also nice to see other slow starters in SE Asia, such as Philippines (a genuine logistic nightmare) also moving quickly now and just reaching around 13% fully vaxxed. In fact, they administered close to 5 million jabs between 11th and 15th August, pretty impressive.

Long may it continue.......

Because in simple terms, the deaths showing today are from infections of up to two weeks ago. Not from the infections of today so this is why you cannot make a comparison in this way.

This must be that famous artefact I've been hearing so much about

Bangkok.

And no I did not. This is why everything that comes out of these daily stats is a complete lie.

I ended up going to Bang Sue for the 60+ group AZ vacine.

No alternatives for you in Bangkok? Reports many receiving jab.

Just 1,235 positive pro active pcr tests yesterday, thats the lowest number since June when confirmed cases were less than 4k a day.

I presume this is because of their preference for ATK rapid tests now, which we know don't get logged unless the patient enters a facility for care.
