Featured Replies

Is anyone else experiencing very slow speeds with 3BB?

I'm based in Chiang Mai if that makes a difference....

Thanks in advance.

Best regards

Can you provide any context?

It was fine before? Then it wasn't?

You have fiber?

How is this change manifesting for you?

The obvious solution is to ring 3BB if you think your service is sub-standard.

Here in Pattaya my gigabyte speed dropped a bit recently but after ringing 3BB back upto 900 +. How fast do you want?

You have to start with 3BBs own speedtest:

https://speedtest.3bb.co.th/

Be aware that highest speeds can only be reached with wired connection not via WiFi.

If the results are significantly worse than the package you pay for, you can ring 3BB.

But as already written: some more details, concrete examples would be helpful.

Could perhaps also be the browser you use at certain times of the day.
Where I live outside Banphai 50km south of Khon Kaen I often have to switch browsers if I am watching a TV series online around 9pm.
I try to download tv series ( mainly UK ) to watch in the evening but, this is getting harder and harder with restrictive practices by Youtube and Google.    Even Dailymotion is not as easy as before.
As others have said if still an issue talk with 3BB.

Couldn’t connect to the server. Please try again.

I get 25mbps to USA, and 50mbps internally.

Tested with testmy.Net

Call 3BB on 1530. Then click 9 on keypad for English I think. I have always found them very helpful.

They can do some tests from their end, or arrange a technician to visit.

Big wind and rains can sometimes cause problems with the  external equipment and cables.

If you send me the names of what you need via PM; I will provide easy links for you.

I am in the village 550 clicks from Bangers & with True. Seems to surge, one minute 240 next 2 but

only for about 9 seconds Frustrating

3BB v. bad now:

Testmy.net results:

3.5 Mbps down

 8.4 Mbps up.

Compared to internal - Fast: 630/480.

I am 150 kms north of Chiang Mai and have to say that 3BB have always provided excellent service.

However over the last couple of months there have been continual breakdowns usually lasting about 12 hours including one yesterday.

Two tests show below with 3BB. I am in Padaet, Chiang Mai on Fibre. First test is 3BB own test page and second is testy.net.

3BB Phuket, single threaded to/from Singapore - awful. My IPTV stopped for an hour or so:

IPTV now OK (2 hours later):

Last night 3BB was very slow in Phuket. I heard AIS was also slow for some Singapore destinations as well. Probably shark attack to some submarine cables?

My IPTV provider emailed me to say that there was an Internet outage from Thailand to all sites and lasted about 2 hours from about 8pm to 10pm.
