Interior minister Anupong Paojinda was a busy man yesterday as tropical storm Tianmu swept in from Laos.

Daily News reported that the storm was recording winds of 65 kmph.

Widespread flooding , mudslides and disruption was forecast.

Anupong was working on evacuation plans and flood mitigation measures.

Local officials, police, military and volunteers groups were all being mobilized yesterday to deal with the effects of the storm.

The Buakhao businesses must be fed up keep cleaning up after each flood

Soi Lengkee likely gave up months before that, or maybe everything was already shuttered/closed.

Sad, had good times in that area.

Looks like Prayut failed to pass his prediction of no more flooding onto Mother Nature.

Will he get a call for spreading fake news?

Even the high road looks a bit dodgy . I know it is the wet season but when will it stop raining ?

In a normal year ,if they is now such a thing  now ,about the end of October .

But,it is not the first time been out at Loi Klortong, floating our little ,Klortong's and been wading though mud ,and that is about mid-November

Every odd season, the rains have been known to extend themselves well into Loy Kratong.

Nipped out with his trusty shovel to clear a couple of ditches...

He wouldn't have the faintest idea which end to hold let alone how to use one.
