Popular Post webfact
Picture: Daily News Daily News said that a meeting of top investigative officers at the Office of the Inspector General yesterday was highly charged and stressful. They were discussing procedural and evidential issues connected to the ongoing case that has dragged on for 9 years. And specifically what to do in response to developments in the case against a former senior prosecutor who dropped charges against Vorayuth Yoovidhya before they were later reinstated. The OIG committee discussed at length about the authority of their investigation. The media was relying on tidbits of information from the committee that was set up by RTP chief Gen Suwat Chaengyodsuk who is under pressure to resolve the continuing rumors about improper activity by senior officers involved in allowing "Boss" to go free. How one witness changed their testimony to say that his Ferrari was only going 76 kmph not the previously sworn 177 kmph. Boss hit and killed a senior police sergeant in the Thong Lo area of Bangkok in September 2012 dragging the officer's motorcycle 200 meters down the road. He left Thailand in 2017. He is an heir to the massive "Red Bull" drinks empire. Suwat has granted the committee leave to continue their investigation into the case until November 10th. Definitive answers to key issues are promised then but few will expect senior heads to roll, notes ASEAN NOW. Footdragging in the case has happened for years so many are expecting more of the same until the whole mess is assigned to past history. -- © Copyright ASEAN NOW 2021-09-30 - Whatever you're going through, the Samaritans are here for you - Follow ASEAN NOW on LINE for breaking COVID-19 updates 1 3
Popular Post MRToMRT
I suspect the only stress was on the "investigators" as the "accused" probably outrank them socially. 9

Popular Post trainman34014
Must be incredibly stressful not to know how they are going to clear everyone involved from any wrongdoing whatsoever. Never mind; just keep shoving it back under the carpet until the Statute runs out or everyone involved has withered and died !

What a complete crock of brown sloppy stuff, the only stress is being found out to have been at the end of brown envelope payment trail; everyone knows it is a complete sham and shows what a bunch of corrupt people are in charge of the country.
Popular Post spidermike007
Should we really make an effort to get the Red Bull creep? We have been protecting the rich and elite for generations now, so how are we supposed to change all of a sudden, and actually go after them? Same applies to the police. We protect them, we do not go after them. Geez. This is causing me alot of stress. I am confused. I guess this is just for the cameras, and public dissemination. So why should I take this seriously. After all, we will never pursue someone like this. We did a good job of making it look like a contentious meeting! Good on us. 7
Popular Post ThailandRyan
Oh the shame of self created stress because not one but all have been complicit in one way or another. I mean holy cow look how many years this BS has been dragging on. Had it been a lo-so, a foreigner or even a migrant worker the case would have been closed and prosecuted in short time. Cluster Cluck at it's worst as well as corruption, no more to see here folks just move along while we sweep it under the rug and into the sewer where the smell of the impropriety will never be distinguished between the other feces in the sewer.

poskat
"Daily News said that a meeting of top investigative officers at the Office of the Inspector General yesterday was highly charged and stressful." the stress was said to be due to their difficulty in coming up with a "misunderstanding" that would explain the lack of action on the case that could be accepted by anyone with an IQ above 75. 1

Popular Post Denim
Vorayuth Yoovidhya might well be the heir to a vast fortune but he and his family have acted incredibly stupidly in this case. It must have cost them a small fortune to keep kicking the can down the road. Had he immediately fessed up , dropped 10 million to the policemans family then done an hours community service at some simple task , it would all have been forgotten by now. Not the sharpest tool in the box.
