As to those ASQ hotels for 1 night - they might be from the top shelf above $100 per night. Way above budget traveller. And what if test is inconclusive and you have to stay 2 nights

UK starting lateral flow tests soon for arrivals from green list - just take evidence and post it or something. Thailand should follow suit - hopefully. Currently they are still shuffling nonsense

This will likely will change again by this afternoon. There seems to be little logic to the decision making, other than previous years tourist level arrivals (which fly's in the face of quality tourism). I see no link with any "Covid Risk Assessment Protocol" - My new acronym begins with C and ends in P - figure it out.

Just wondering how they intend to solve the latest idea of a 1-day quarantine an PCR test, if tourists REALLY arrive in large numbers... imagine all the hotels who will have to accommodate thousands of tourists for 1 night only with all the cleaning requirements that the current covid situation requires for them... If I would be a hotel owner, I would NOT accept such tourists, except when the government pays me 2-3 nights for each tourist who stays 1 night for covid-checks. AND we need a new website with all the hotels who offer that service, I am pretty sure that all ASQ or SHA hotels are interested in that business

And if your flight arrives at 10pm.

Test, off the the hotel and at 12 check-out.

Ridiculous.

Please let Japan do a reciprocal deal.   Would cancel Deer Valley in a heartbeat for some Hokkaido powder.

The article states 38 countries but lists 39. No wonder this country is in such a mess

They list themselves.

And we got 70Million visitors from "Thailand".

Nor New Zealand or the poor countries around Thailand that have low covid 19.

Neither have successful vaccine programs. Both used failed lock down to 'control' the spread. Neither have geonomic analysis programs.

I doubt any Ozzies would come anyway.  They have to go through an expensive 14 day quarantine upon returning to Australia.

That's also changing quickly, as we speak, for at least NSW.

Even better, Norwegian and SAS scraped the rule about wearing masks for all Nordic flights. Flight outside on the Nordic countries will still need a mask. Hope the whole world can go back to a more normal state as soon as possible.

Ur rigth.Lets just hope things get back to like it was before.

I can see more colours on the way. Countries going into colour groups. Nov 1st green can come.

Nov 15th lucky yellow.

Dec 1st orange can join.

Dec 15th welcome blue.

Just love colours!

Strange to see Australia not on the list

Someone must have told them that Australians are not free to travel abroad on Nov. 1.

However, no-one told them about China's outbound restrictions.

Delta, did that not start in India, suddenly they are on the list, even though they have done a good job at treating their people, very well actually.

Might as well open the gate Pratunam Burt. Watergate Open. to all countries , does that mean planes will fly again??

Within the last 24 hours I've read 10 countries then 5 countries then 27 countries and now 38 countries and it's not even teatime yet.

Thai media Daily News reported that the CCSA were considering grouping countries according to economic value and vaccine coverage as a means to deciding which ones' nationals will be allowed to come to Thailand without having to quarantine from November 1st.

Open up to the entire world, double vaxxed, PCR 72 hours before arriving.

No quarantine no SHA sh#t no nothing.

Ohhh and open up Thailand ie nothing closed.

No, it's because most Russians are just not scared. Maybe it's hard to understand for Westerners because it looks like you are talking about covid 24/7. But I see in Russia covid hype is gone already and people just live their lives. I guess we never reach even 50% of vaccination with any vaccines. If only Putin forces us ????

So bye bye Amazing Thailand ????

Really?

Putin calls for faster vaccination as Russia's COVID-19 death toll hits new daily record
