  • There's a thread on this forum here that i posted on a couple of years ago, when the price of btc was around 5,000 usd and we had the same sort of comments then, you will lose everything! dont invest,

  • Strongly suggest doing your own detailed research and understanding the thesis behind anything you buy.   But if you really just want to follow other people's trade ideas, this isn't a forum

  • the third rule of investing: do not watch all these crypto amazing videos on YouTube.

missed it 70% less recently...distractions...ugh !

I been in for about 2 years but only with small money.

My modest investment went up about X7 during that time so it's a nice little pot now.

Anyone care to give their view on Floki Inu? One of my friends say that there is a good chance of this going up?

"Best cryptocurrency to get into now.... I need to invest some money"

So you ask on the most bigoted, illiterate and ignorant public forum in Thailand.

Good luck.

there's a few decent pro-crypto lads here on TVF and the crypto threads only get a few trolls and FUDders. they're easy to avoid once you put them on ignore. I've found some very useful info on here without that much effort. as we all know, finding anything good on TVF is like panning for gold ????

Heres another ignorant response:

Take care to study the new 'US Infrastructure Bill',

The US Internal Revenue Service and Treasury Department will be able

to set tax reporting rules for cryptocurrency transactions starting in 2023,

pending final approval of the massive US infrastructure bill.

Looking long term regarding New World Order, expect the worst imaginable?

you did not get my point. There are people who do not understand anything in the underlying technology, for whom "the crypto jargon is confusing", for whom thinking more than three thoughts in a row gives a headache, and for whom the phrase "do your own research" means nothing but "watch YouTube advisors", and who seriously "invest" in obvious scam tokens ↓ ↓ ↓

If I was given free moneys and was told "go buy some cráp but diversify the risks" I would buy 60% of "maybe [a bit closer to "no"]" and 40% of "no [a bit closer to "maybe"]"

Outside bet, it could go to zero, so be prepared to lose it all. I actually bought some for a laugh, the name of Elon Musk's dog!

personally I don't care what the USA do.

well I'm really, really boring so my call* would be to buy the  'blue-chip' coins BTC and ETH. then stick 'em in a 90 day term on crypto.com for a little extra interest.

with the view to cashing in next year if and when this current bull run tops.

You guys rate coin bureau as being reasonably on the money ?

I think bitboy is a pump-and-dump channel on YT as its

all not regulated as far as I know.

..then there is Tika Tiwari (I want to help all you poor people/buy my $2500 subscription) being funneled to everyone via that YT huckster

NEVER buy HEX, it's a scam

How can it be a scam? It has gone up 10x in 6 months, even though many claimed it was a scam, but it just keeps going, so don’t worry, it is not too late for you, buy some HEX today, just $100, worst case, you lose $100, but upside is infinite!

But this investment is not for weak hands, DYOR.

stocks ????I'm Green,

but I know there's much I think there's going to be a big stock market crash ????

The thing about stocks is that they represent ownership in a business with a cash flow. You might be unlucky (having done no research) and buy into a company that goes bankrupt, like buying Nokia shares around the time the iPhone was launched.

But if you know nothing about stocks, I would say, just buy into the iShares MSCI ACWI ETF. This is an index of thousands of companies in all countries (including emerging markets) but weighted according to their market cap, e.g. U.S. stocks is probably around 55% of that index, with Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, Tesla, Google, Facebook, Nvidia, and TSMC taking up around 15%. All companies who have done quite well in the last few years, and that is basically why they are in that index, i.e. if Apple starts to slip, their ratio of the index should decrease accordingly, and if all Apple’s customers goes to Samsung, Samsung’s ratio in the index should increase (assuming Samsung actually makes a profit from these new customers and thereby increase earnings and their market cap).

Fascinating ! I just might jump in with $100 when a a new coin entry  called "Grease my Pole" enters the game  !

Nothing to do with IQ, people can see we have an archaic monetary system and the only possible alternative 'money' supply option is bitcoin, so fairly easy to buy something that is also a new asset class. Thats it, you dont need to study crypto you tube or anything like that or have a degree in economics.

Some billionaires have invested but so have lots of autistic people

Overthink things and you could talk yourself out of investing.

Of course im biased as im set up for life now, however im still buying and not left the scene.

You have been buying since 2013 and are still buying. So I take it that you have invested more than your realized profit?

If you were buying in 2013 there is no way it would be possible to invest more than what is already earned.

80% of this time since 2013 the price has been under 9k.

I brought 100 bucks (24,000 xrp) of ripple in 2013 and exchanged it for 3.5 btc in 2017. Just as an example.

if i have a spare 2k come up then it goes back into btc, I brought nothing between 2015 and 2019, as at that point its future was still unclear, however this last 2 years of government money printing and the approval of ETF's in certain countries has led me to think its still a good hedge.

I recommend you don't feed the trolls.

Of course, NO ONE that bought crypto years ago has lost money, if they have half a brain. It ain't rocket science.

I bought BTC at $2500 and XRP at 5c. I still put 90% of my salary immediately into crypto. Even if BTC goes down(unlikely) to 20k, I'll just wait a couple of years or so.
