Haven't been found guilty as yet, and had to have investigation before dismissal to avoid civil action for wrongful dismissal?

For a minute there, I thought, by the headline, that the bosses were going to (permanently) going to ‘remove’ him quickly, literally meaning following a quick conviction and then a quick follow up sentencing to the death sentence but as this is Thailand, turns out to be nothing like that.
