The Ban Bueng Police were notified of the accident earlier this week at midnight in the Nong Bondang sub-district. Law enforcement arrived at the scene to find the female driver, Preeyaphon Tanakornchaiyakarn, 29. She had sustained various moderate injuries but was cognizant and able to speak to the associated Thai press while getting medical aid. Preeyaphon stated, “I was driving my pickup truck heading to Bangkok. When I arrived at a curve, the area was too dark and two buffalos ran out in front of me. Thingamabob Posted December 22, 2021 Posted December 22, 2021 I am very sorry for the buffalo. It will most likely be killed and eaten unless it's leg can be repaired. Given the appalling way animals are treated generally, not only in Thailand, I don't fancy it's chances. The driver will not be punished in any way, of course.
