A simple question, what is the first thing you do, when the car in front of you start braking, no matter how far away from the car in front you are at the moment you see the brake light?

First thing

probably the first thing is work out why they are braking, maybe turning, maybe vehicle in front, wouldn't brake straight away, same when cycling, knee jerk braking isn't good

Yes i feel mostly safe riding my motorbike and cycling, have to concentrate 100% always. I don't feel fear, think i did first two weeks on a motorbike in Pattaya ????

First time in Thailand, I waited two weeks before I drive anything, and used taxi. Not so often I go by tuck tuck or motorbike taxi.

I warn the traffic behind me, and same time look in the mirror to know what's coming from behind, and hopefully I did see the car would brake before it happened. Trying always to be in a position to see what's happening in front, not always easy, but also be aware of what's behind me.

I've read that a prostate massage is mighty good for you. ????

I tried one in Chiang Mai, it's called a karsai massage. As far as I could tell, it did not do a damn thing for me.

They are medicinal and are meant to repeated on a regular basis to be beneficial.

I understand there are only two women in Chiang Mai that are qualified in karsai massage, so the answer is probably yes.

In case you were wondering, the masseuse stayed fully clothed during the massage, wearing surgical gloves.

It was an experiment, to satisfy my curiosity. I can't say it was a comfortable or enjoyable experience.

Itbis important to check your prostate regularly, so why not by a professional.

Where was it did you say? Asking for a friend

When I can no longer beat the other guys home from the pub before my wife puts the food on the table then I'll hang up my jacket, turn in my motorcycle slippers and sell the bike.

If you’ve never done it, how do you know ????

It looked crazy enough sitting on a motorbike as a passenger, let alone driving it just inches from huge buses and trucks. One wrong move on either side and you're dead.

The problem is old people who think they are young, how many commenting  on here had a bike license in their own country?

The problem here is old fogies who never had to do a decent test, suddenly reinvent themselves with lax Thai testing standards,

Similar to the blue diamond effect.

Old people should get tested yearly, they are a danger to the rest of us.

"How many commenting  on here had a bike license in their own country?"

I had HGV, and PSV licenses as well as a car license in my own country and had motorbikes for a few years, and did not bother with a motorbike license as I did not think with my driving experience I should need one.

When I left the UK for Thailand age 52, I gave my son my 1100cc Yamaha Bulldog.

I've had a full UK m/c licence from age 19.

When I left UK 2005 for good at 57 sold my 1200 bandit to my eldest son.

I sold my 92 Blade at a classic price to a collecter.

Bought my youngest son 16yr a 50cc 4 stroke Italian thingy he could use on the road and start his UK motorbike DL stages.

He was use to riding from 13 yr a 125 yamy motocross bike.

He said he could run as fast the 50cc 4 stroke. ????

I passed my m/c test at 16 on a borrowed Bantam.

At 22 I passed my advanced motorcycle test.

I use to have fun riding with the police on there training session and watch quite a few stack there Pan-am's. ????

I raced my Blade a few times OK but too hairy for my liking but did track days a lot which were fun especially with mates and having different mixes of bikes.
