How did he travel and how often was his passport checked?

  • Weird part of the story.  He lives in a luxury condo.  Is a big time drug dealer.  And he drives an MG?  I mean, if it is a modern Chinese made MG it's not exactly posh is it?

Too bad we didn't get a warning.

Anyway not just a criminal, but a dumb one.

Must have been the same lot that have been looking for the Red Bull heir, free since 2018 ????????????

Goes to show, encouraging people with money to come and live here does not always equate to good people moving here. How about just doing proper criminal background checks on people during their visa applications?

You can run but not hide????These hitmen do a better job of catching criminals than the world police do????How does a deported gangster travel so freely around the world????

"Bad man."  Good tourist need not worry. Only bad people are shot.  Regular tourists are only hacked to death.

Funny yesterday police said don't jump to conclusions that he was a criminal and it was a targeted attack! Hmmm

Hitmen or  hitwoman come in all sizes and shapes. I wonder if he got his shots?

It was likely he was driving the MG to keep a low profile, which was smart. Sounds like he crossed the wrong people. If those kind of people really want you dead, there are few places you can hide. And I can think of a few that are far lower profile than Phuket.

Anyway, another thug bites the dust. Doubt if there will be alot of sympathy for him. Somehow, the oxygen seems a little cleaner today.

Ketamine is a useful drug if administered properly. Long term recreational use leads to organ failure, brain damage, ulcers, memory loss, respiratory issues, seizures, and more.

Everybody is assuming he flew into Phuket, It's also possible he could have entered Phuket by boat into Chalong bay then just 2 or 3 miles to the villa where he was shot, infact along the beach

By boat across the Bay of Bengal? That's a formidable voyage.

A lot of people do make that trip all the way down to Sri Lanka

Justice served. Lots of time and money saved for multiple countries. Next...

How about the two guys that shot him? You don’t want them arrested and thrown in jail for a long time? Plus the one(s) who gave the order for the hit?

If the shooters wear masks then all good!

The tourist gunned down on Friday night was a marked gangland crime figure who lived his life travelling between Dubai and East Asia since he fled India in 2018

Can we call him a tourist ??

5555, the guy has his passport collected ,stamped by immigration and returned to his luxury villa without moving.

With so much dosh, many will run to serve him.

He meticulously avoided the 90 day report or the police in the BMWs would have arrested him for sure.

Another 'high quality tourist' exclusively desired for humongous spending of baht. He doesn't quite fit that narrative pushed by TAT, though. Guess they'd reverse the narrative on that one.

With a nickname of "Slice'' he might have cut to many deals, and angered a few to many.

No longer a waste of oxygen?

Two suspects that were caught in nearby CCTV footage were presumingly the alleged shooters. The police believed that the suspects were still on the island, were likely foreign nationals, and were in the process of identifying and tracking both of them for interrogation.

Police stated that countless footprints were also seen at an abandoned house nearby the villa and in the sand along the way and around the scene, presumably belonging to the shooters who may have been discreetly observing the victim before the day of the crime.

The police investigation also revealed that the foreign man would visit and spend time at the villa every month, each time for 15 days, with a rental rate of 100,000 baht per month.
He would drive out dozens of times a day to unknown destinations with two female foreign friends, who have yet to be identified by police. He also had several expensive belongings worth millions of baht according to the Royal Thai Police, including brand name bags, 3 mobile phones, and an MG-brand rental car.

sound like amateurs to me, 10 bullets needed, in broad daylight drawing attention to themselves, lots of witnesses and two of the killers are known by name now.
