So far, the only name I recognize that people have provided is Marc Faber. But even he is just a sort of niche figure who used to appear on financial shows on the weekend.

this forum will only be aware of Western celebrities.

I'm sure there are Japanese, Korean and maybe Russian celebrities in Thailand.

There was this story years ago about this Russian orchestra conductor ...

Molly Meldrum, TV presenter pop music 30 years ago in Australia, came to Bkk, opened a bar believing that he would receive instant amazing fame & recognition. In reality achieved very little.

Former Spurs and England player Gary Stevens lives in Hua Hin

Goldie (with gold teeth) lives in Phuket, has done for a few years if he counts, UK DJ been in a few movies including a James Bond one and Snatch. Met him a few times here. This was taken 2 years ago at a waterboarding park with my daughter.
