Chonburi – Three people have sustained injuries after a pickup truck driver crashed into a grocery store in the Bor Thong district.

 

Emergency responders were notified of the accident earlier this week at an intersection on Nong Samet – Bor Thong Road.

 

They arrived at the scene to find a damaged white pickup truck that had crashed directly into a grocery store, damaging a significant amount of merchandise.

Never seen such a high concentration of jerks: these local males in pickup trucks.

They are not really vehicles for racing, but so many times I have seen them hurtle past, red lining and often loads of black exhaust smoke. 

Doesn't look like a grocery store.  

He must of been traveling at speed to get that far into the building.

Driver blamed a man a dog for wrong direction ? 

Free parking out back.  They just didn't have direction signs saying how to get there.

They wanted to try the drive-through shopping concept used in Western countries. Like Cafe Amazon drive through in Thailand.

Meanwhile at Police Headquarters it was deemed too hot to go outside.

They go very fast and already passing the grocery store, one shop more far was the butcher.

They can't stop them very fast because of all those 'Go Fast' stripes and 'Flying Crow's Heads' painted all over them these days; making buyers believe they are buying Sports Cars with room for your shopping in the back !

 

The Thai love affair with Pick-Up's is born out of Small Men with Small Brains thinking they will show an image of Big Face and Big Balls !

Not only Thai men, foreigners too, see my thread in the motoring section. 

 

Pick-up drivers especially seem to get really annoyed when they encounter a faster vehicle trying to pass. Wonder why that is?
