Umm I Think he did and fearing for his life because of what he did he fled to save himself from being made to disappear.  Mr. Prayut must be confused regarding these things.....

confused or massively naive!!

Isn't someone who stages a coup against a legitimate government and trashes the constitution the ultimate lawbreaker?

If one is being extremely literal, yes, I suppose so......

Prayut added that the officer shouldn’t have fled, and that Thailand’s laws would have protected him.

It was the law... or should I say RTP & army that were after him... what protection?

Like they do the Red Bull brat?

'complaints against high-ranking figures' - I'm sure they would welcome him back with open jaws.

He should respond to Prayut by publishing the whole story online so we can get all the nitty gritty details including those involved all the way to the top.

That would really shake his tree of rotton apples.

Slander and computer crime!

He would be crucified in the courts.

Thailand Law would of protected him it just shows how the PM is so out of touch if this guy was to return he would be in the Temple before he reached the bottom step of the airline that brought him back !

He can get some sweet revenge for having to run for his life.

Staying in Australia the Thai courts can't touch him anyway. 60 minutes would love his story that's for sure.

By "extremely literal", I assume you mean honest and truthful?
