Particularly clueless meme. The West has already accepted 3.5 million refugees. And is massively helping the Ukrainian govt resist the invasion

Ukraine actually didn't need much help, as Putin underestimated his enemy.  Only committing 200k soldiers, and matched what Ukraine has.  Not smart when you're the invading force.  Ukraine had more than enough armament left over from pounding the east for a few years to defend themselves.

Remember, they / Ukraine are, were, one of the top dealer of deaths, supplying arms to whoever had the money.

Why Russian troops didn't swoop in for an easy victory.  They are running a bit low now, but so is Putin, actually on the border.  Both restocking ????

Maybe you haven't heard the news. Ukraine is at war an invader. There are 10 million refugees and displaced persons out of a population of 40 million.

Did Ukraine take in any refugees from all the countries their weapons were used against in global conflicts ?

10 million ... really ????  That's a lot.  Guessing a lot of them are glad they have a good reason to leave, and will now be accepted into the EU, without the immigration hassle.

So much for fighting for the homeland, and they seem happy to let Putin have it.  Guess the new regime isn't for everyone.

I don't pay attention to a lot any more, covid, putin, russia, Thai or US politics.  Only what affects me & mine, which is only US economy, actually the worst it is there, the better for me here.  Might actually get decent COLA next year, though doubtful.

But have they stopped buying Russian oil & gas, and will soon be paying in Rubles.

Accepting refugees, from a country, they financed and supported a coup / regime change of, for the present administration to even exist.  Please ... the west caused the problem.

Sound familiar, disrupt, regime change, take in refugees ....

... a billion $$$$ business.  Rinse & repeat.  WAKE UP

Only surprise, people aren't blaming Trump.

Thanks for providing no evidence that the West caused the problem. But then, as you confessed,

"I don't pay attention to a lot any more, covid, putin, russia, Thai or US politics.  Only what affects me & mine, which is only US economy,"

Why would Ukrainians here need any help ?  Or Russians for that matter ?  They can return home anytime they want, if they want.

Saying the Ukrainians "can return home anytime they want" is like telling someone whose house is on fire that there's nothing keeping them from returning home.

Well by your analogy you must assume that every house in Ukraine is now uninhabitable.

By my analogy I'm saying that Ukraine is a very dangerous place to return to. Analogies are wasted on the literal-minded.

You got any figures to support your ridiculous claim that Ukraine had enough arms to defend themselves?

Ukraine was one of the top dealers of death? Maybe if 20th place is someone's idea of being a top dealer

Emphasis on 'was', until 2014 (post regime change/coup), when they started using the stockpile to plummet the east of Ukraine/Donbass, since they controlled the coal exports & 30% of the GDP, or something along those lines.

Your graph is based on $$$$ value, yea, them high tech toys are expensive, but Ukraine held a high spot dealing in lower tech death toys:

"The defense industry of Ukraine is a strategically important sector and a large employer in Ukraine. After working for several decades mostly for the arms export markets, in 2014 it has moved significantly into increased Ukrainian military procurement since the start of the war in Donbas.

Prior to 2014, Ukraine's export-oriented arms industry had reached the status of world's 4th largest arms exporter in 2012. Since the start of the War in Donbas, Ukraine's military industry has focused more on its internal arms market and as a result slipped to the 9th spot among top global arms exporters by 2015, 11th spot by 2018 and the 12th spot among global arms exporters by 2019"

And gettin' paid SFA (and that in russky rubbles no less, 555) clearly shows in poor quality ...

Why do these bozos keep grouping tje Ukrainians and Russians together? Its the Ukrainians that have been invaded that need help and refuge.

There is zero conflict on Russian soil and zero stopping them returning home.

You are particularly wrong about the Red Cross (at least the American Red Cross):

the American Red Cross, for example, uses less than 10% of its budget for administrative and fundraising expenses, therefore spending over 90% of its income on programs that benefit communities, according to Charity Navigator.”

Great job on the donations you’ve made though, very generous of you and your friends ????????

Australian red cross has a terrible reputation witheld millions of bushfire donations and underpaid staff for over a decade resulting in them having to pay 25 million in costs. To name just a couple.
