Australians - the most informal people on earth?
I couldn't imagine wearing long trousers and long sleeved shirts in Thailand outside the odd formal occasion. Strutting around in shorts and a t-shirt is one of the great benefits of living here, for Pete's sake! I do draw a line at wearing Speedos away from the beach though, so maybe I am a snob.😄 -

The Left versus Right False Dichotomy, and "The tyranny of contrived opposites"
Inherently, right-wingers want to preserve the status quo, or even revert to the past. History shows most of the major reforms which benefit ordinary people are initiated by left-wing governments. Mere mention of socialism is enough to get many Americans frothing at the mouth. The US military has many features of socialism. There are quite a few leftist governments in the world that prosper, and the sky has not fallen in. -

MTG rails against Trump
We used to think that western democracy is the 'rule by the people'. But one day our leader Vladimir Putin explained to us that in a democratic country like the USA, for example, you will not become president if representatives of big business do not pay for your election campaign (the price is about a billion dollars). (That's why many people in Russia consider North Korea to be much more democratic ('rule by the people') than most western countries.) Therefore, Z guys think that in Ukraine, as in any democratic country, it is not the people who elect, but big business. Knowing that the Ukrainian big business is under the control of NATO countries (that is, the USA), we could conclude that Zelensky was brought to power by Trump. -

TM30 and 90 day reporting, needed for a DTV if leaving just after 3 months?
If I have made a re-entry into Thailand meaning it's the 2nd time I've entered on a DTV, do I really need to lodge a TM30 notifying my address and later on doing a 90 day report if I will be leaving Thailand in about 3.5 months time, and I have no other need to go to use Jomtien Immigration during this time? Will this pose any issues or fines later on for my 3rd entry if I need to use Jomtien Immigration after the 3rd entry? FYI, I've already done a TM30 and 90 day reporting on my 1st entry because I needed to get a Certificate of Residency and yes, I know it makes no difference for the 2nd time as it's a brand new entry.
