Abhisit Doubts Prayut Could Efficiently Run The Country At All

FORMER PREMIER ABHISIT Vejjajiva questioned Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha’s ability to run the country at all since he could not even find a few hours to spend responding to last week’s House interpellation.

 

During a seminar held at parliament on the 90th anniversary of the 1932 Revolution of Siam, Abhisit said he wondered if Prayut could efficiently run the country in the first place since the coup leader-turned-premier failed to attend last week’s House interpellation which directly involved him.

 

“Given his failure to have managed to find a few hours to respond to a House interpellation, which had been scheduled beforehand, how could the prime minister possibly run the country in the first place?” said the former premier and former leader of Democrat Party.

Not quite.  Thailand is a complete Autocracy with a Prime Minister who thinks all he has to do is issue orders and that everyone should obey.  I think he will find out different on the next election and that the Country will finally be able to move towards a true democracy.

Nearly 3% of the population disagree. The other 97% are shocked that Abhisit actually said something accurate and made a useful observation. 

 

What defines a true leader? True leaders are in the service of their people. True leaders act with integrity and in doing so they establish trust. True leaders genuinely value their people and in doing so they create loyalty. True leaders are in the business of assisting people to realize their full potential, and in doing so they inspire excellence. Nobody can demand respect, loyalty or trust, like Cha Cha constantly does. These things have to be earned. There are no short cuts, no way to cheat the process. Great leaders have integrity and truly value their people. He does not inspire confidence, as he has never had any follow up in his weak game, he is highly insincere, and grossly incompetent and under qualified for the job. One would think after 7

8 plus years he would  have had time to learn. That does not appear to be the case. Prayuth, you are a terrible leader. A true dinosaur.

Abhisit would be one of the ways out of this mess yet cannot get the backing of all those upcountry grannies and uneducated uncles. 

It is yet to be seen what happens next as Thaksins path blazing politics of OTOP, the 30 Baht health cost coverage etc. - some 20 years ago - are considered the normality these days. Hence he will be running out of steam which leaves some hope for younger newcomers. Abhisit could play an instrumental role in such a constellation; maybe not as PM but in an advisory board ..... he is definitely one of the better guys ????

According to some sources: Anand Panyarachun 1991-92 (a total 514 days as PM).

He was an unelected royalist but a liberal. But he wouldn't fit PM Prayut's ideology: "Thainess, I don't like the term - it's a myth."

but it was very himself, who in 2014 paved the way for a coup.

All democrat parliamentarians went on the streets with Bangkok Shutdown, obstructing the general election by physically blocking polling stations and national ballot papers distribution centre.

The all wanted a coup because they knew well, that they would never get any meaningful vote.

 

Abhisit himself was just a puppet for a deep state and military when the constitutional court disqualified the red government on technicalities.

 

He is completely has been, as the whole democrat party. They have lost bangkok. The remains are in the south in semi-feudal mafia ridden social set up, where they are able to control voters

The unelected PM is an ex soldier with a Military Academy education, so he probably has an IQ similar to the majority of the Thai people. He is only a PM because he is protected by his Junta. That alone should tell you about his ability to run the country.
