Often, they are subtle elements especially in the aromas. With weed, I am like you, I don't really care about this aspect, but I do expect a clean, non offensive aroma and taste. Just smelling the buds, you can immediately see the difference from one to the other. The rest is just vocabulary which doesn't impact the effects of the smoke. Also just because a strain average says it can be a high THC value, if it was not grown correctly it can produce less potent Trichomes, and you will have a less potent bud. Stick with vendors which are advertising more realistic values, and/or are able to provide you with an actual Certificate of Analysis.
