The Engelbert Humperdinck legend continues in Hua Hin this month

Sixties superstar Engelbert Humperdinck will be staging a one-night only concert in Hua Hin on Saturday 20th August. The Hua Hin concert at the InterContinental Hua Hin Resort is promoted as  “The Legendary Engelbert Humperdinck in Hua Hin ” on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at 6:00 p.m.

The is limited to about 400 seats at the swimming pool that stretches to Hua Hin beach and guests will enjoy a three course dinner at the resort and beverages.

 

 

Born Arnold George Dorsey, and, known professionally as Engelbert Humperdinck, the now 86 year old British singer has been described as “one of the finest middle-of-the-road balladeers around”.  He first achieved international prominence in 1967 with his recording of “Release Me”.

 

He has sold 140 million records worldwide, including “Please Release Me”, “The Last Waltz” which reached number one on the UK charts, Lady Of The Night, Misty Blues, After The Loving, Spanish Eyes and Quando,  Quando, Quando.

 

He has been nominated for four Grammy Awards, a Golden Globe Award. and was awarded a top star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Las Vegas Walk of Fame and Leicester Walk of Fame.

 

Since his first million-selling chart-toppers, he has remained one of the world’s premier balladeers continuing to delight audiences around the globe.

The event follows a performance at Resorts World Genting’s Arena Of Stars in Malaysia on August 13th. 

 

After the Hua Hin concert, he is set to perform at other Thailand venues at Centara Reserve Samui on August 22nd, then at the Centara Grand Phuket on August 24th.

There isn't any 86 yr old singer, I'd want to endure trying to sing for 1-1.5 hrs.  Maybe an instrumentalist, but that would be a stretch also.
