i am willing to bet they were all high on the weed first....which lead to this abhorrent behavior.

frolicking, provocative, inhalants, blatantly....... o my goodness

Chiang Mai has dozens of  pot shops now with no customers in sight. Some appeared to be built at huge cost. Probably high prices for stale dirt weed teenagers cannot afford.

Anutins pot empire seems to be sinking

They really need to jump on this crap and ban it once and for all.

Same in Aus.

Created quite a story on weekend TV current affairs program, mainly because of the obvious targeting of young kids.

Calls for it to be banned outright here in Aus.

Thing is, certain aspects of it are currently illegal but business as usual, nothing to see here.

A group of audacious Chiang Mai teenagers, all under the age of 16, astounded onlookers with their outrageous behavior near the historic city moat in Chiang Mai. Their exploits included frolicking in the water, engaging in provocative dance moves, and using electronic cigarettes and inhalants, all while blatantly ignoring the stares and concerns of passersby who observed them.

The onlookers will soon get over it... move on please.

What would you like to ban (or all) ?

Yes, seems a ban on glue, alcohol, cigarette packs, e-cigarettes, provocative dances, school children, onlookers, playing in water and gathering near the old guard post is in order. If they had only smoked a joint - none of this would have happened.

Rumour has it that some smoke joints as well.

Here is a quote from a CNN interview with Anutin (who said that you cannot use cannabis for recreational use).

Quote

Speaking to CNN in an interview ahead of the move, Thai Health Minister Anutin Charnvirakul said he expected legal cannabis production to boost the economy but cautioned that recreational use of the drug remains illegal.

“It’s a no,” said Anutin, who is also a deputy prime minister. “We still have regulations under the law that control the consumption, smoking or use of cannabis products in non-productive ways.”

Yet, even when he says that Cannabis can not be used for recreational use, how and why were all of the shops allowed to be opened with no restrictions.  There are still tables set up in places outside on the sidewalks where they sell rolled joints and bud.

There are restrictions. Age (20) & pregnant women from memory. The restrictions may be just as effective stopping kids buying weed as it is with alcohol and cigarettes. The price of weed in these shops is the biggest restriction.
