As mentioned in other threads so even if they get him to become PM, the idea of a minority government which can't pass anything through the House of Representatives is absurd. How's that supposed to work?

It won't but it is the perfect solution to the end of military rule. If that happens then it will be all hell let loose pt and MFp supporter in the streets.

First chance they have no confidence motion and back to elections

Is there any provision in the Constitution that forbids Sleeping Beauty to be nominated for PM?

All we need is another Biden. This whole circus is an absolute disgrace.

You mean which country Thailand will go to war with and lose? It could always deal with Myanmar which has been dreaming for many decades of reconquering the Thailand lost territories.

Thai people will need take action and not still or just talk, condemn or criticize. Surely they want a PM that they vote for?

The move forward party will get banned to make it work, just like their predecessors.

I can see that coming, but then light the blue touchpaper and stand well back, nothing but trouble ahead imho

Possible scenario that the party will be dissolved and the elected MPs will join other parties or MFP has already registered a party in anticipation of such legal jeopardy. The pro-democracy coalition will still hold the majority in Parliament.

Possible worst scenario. Parliament will be unworkable, people will take to the streets and coup d'etat number 15 will be initiated. The people will fight back. Thailand will become another Myanmar. This will spell the end of Thailand as we know it.

Pravit elected as PM until recently seemed to be a remote possibility. Leading a minority government that can't pass anything through the house.

Unless .........

Remember the 2nd complaint accepted by the Charter Court?

Accusing MF of

"attempting to overthrow the democratic system with His Majesty the King as the Head of State".

It would not surprise me at all if the

court rules in the affirmative, expels Pita and orders the dissolution of the Move Forward Party.

Problem solved!
