Sattahip — A man accidentally burned himself while allegedly trying to set fire to his neighbours house in retaliation for the neighbor filing a noise complaint against him.

Sattahip rescue services received a notification that a Thai man was burned while trying to set a fire on the roof of a house located in the Bang Saray sub-district of Chonburi on Friday, August 4th. They rushed to the scene of the incident following the report.

Upon arriving, the rescue team discovered the victim, Mr. Net Anantakul, 47, with severe burns on his face, arms, and legs. Despite still being conscious and able to communicate, he appeared to be in a state of intoxication, the rescue team stated.

I was grumbling about the neighbour's dogs having their 5.30am singing practice but better not complain if their idea of resolution is to try and burn my house down!

Definitely a few bricks short of a load!....

This is thai thinking,  it happens alot .....  remember the thai who slashed the UK guy with a sickle because he was making too much noise.  weird bunch to say the least.

My dogs start up at 5.45am when the local daily newscast begins with some awful music.

Just a week or two ago we had a report here of someone knifing his neighbour to death because he turned off the wi-fi that the killer was piggybacking on (the murdered neighbour had given permission, but he was killed anyway). And now someone trying to burn their neighbour's house down because his music was too loud. The usual massive over-reaction, the usual total lack of self-control, that we see so often here.

And now burned, bandaged, in bed and listening loud music..Love it ????

I think a few of us have got it not quite right.

The man dressed like a mummy is the one who made too much noise.

Darwin theorized that some species and some members of those species were more fit for survival than others.

The theory of natural selection, means we all have to exhibit certain survival skills, to thrive in this world. Self protection is just one of those skills. Some have it, some do not. Those who do not have it, tend to suffer more.
