Social Media “Outraged” Over Erotic Show in Pattaya

Pattaya – Social media has shown concerns, with some netizens claiming they are outraged, after a woman posted on social media inviting people to watch an erotic show at a night club in Pattaya.

A woman identified only as ‘Kat’ posted on her personal Facebook page inviting people to watch her erotic show with a man at a night club (NEW SEASON 88) in Pattaya on Friday (August 25th) with a video clip of a prior erotic show.

In the video clip, the woman was wearing a bikini and a man was wearing underwear while doing erotic behaviors. The night club is located on the Pattaya Third Road in North Pattaya.

Many social media users claimed they were concerned that the video clip is pornographic, although The Pattaya News notes there was no nudity in the clip or sexual actions. Some users even claimed the clip might violate the Computer Crimes Act. The video clip is not suitable for younger social media users, also claimed netizens. The Pattaya News notes, however, that it is unclear why a young social media user would be browsing a nightclub page meant for adults and that the venue in question is strictly for those over the legal age of twenty.

A wave of concern has swept across social media in Pattaya, sparked by a woman’s invitation to an erotic show at a local nightclub.

The woman, known only as Kat, shared a post on her personal Facebook page, encouraging people to attend her risqué performance with a male partner at the NEW SEASON 88 nightclub. Alongside her call to action, she posted a video clip from a previous show that has since stirred controversy.

In the contentious video, Kat is seen clad in a bikini, while her male partner is in his underwear, both engaging in suggestive behaviour. Despite the provocative nature of the clip, it is worth noting that there was no explicit nudity or sexual actions present. The nightclub in question, situated on Pattaya Third Road in North Pattaya, is strictly for patrons over the age of twenty.

Pattaya News must not have any kids.

Under age teens are ALWAYS pushing the envelope.

Laughable.

Is it "A wave of concern" or is it "outrage". I would say it's neither and probably a click bait headline. It's Pattaya and while I have never been there I would expect nothing less if I went and didn't find such a venue in a place like this.

If you want outrage go to a Western pride event where you will find all sorts of deviance done by adults in front of children or the fact the US is largest human trafficking country in the world facilitated by its own government.

I remember they had these types of shows in the 1970’s and I believe early 1980’s in NYC.

But in this particular case it isn’t clear what was done.

Well hell, let's make sure we don't offend anyone even if it means we end up looking totally juvenile.

So now we all know that NEW SEASON 88 is located on the Pattaya Third Road in North Pattaya, but this is a genuine news item folks, not advertising pretending to be news.

Was it P.T. Barnum who said "There's no such thing as bad publicity...."?

I think the owners of the bar are going to be upset - as they are going to have to buy larger brown envelopes in the future !

I was at an open air show on temple grounds with live bands, which included prancing pretties and a couple of wild male dancers. To say some of the movements and positions were sexual may be an understatement. I felt embarrassed, but it seemed designed to whip people into a frenzy and maybe shock. My Mrs was disturbed this was occurring on temple grounds. The headliner act was more sedate and enjoyable, I might have left earlier but we had paid to get in.

If the woman is Thai and wrote in Thai on her social media media post, it means foreign tourists dodged a bullet and will not be showing up in droves. Whew.

Ive noticed more and more

The trashier the news outlet, the more and more they use the words "outrage" "new trend" "you need to...." "viral" "trend"

Maybe i need to stop noticing them or journalism is so trashy these days

I wonder what the social media reaction would be to a video of a good old fashioned darts hitting balloons show.

Agree so-called shows expressing sexuality unacceptable for foreigners but mum and dad at a local temple show anything goes . Plus no money to be made by corruption at temple shows but in Pattaya, thousands to be made. Xenephobia at its best .

If i remember correctly back in the 80', they used to have a full sex shows in some bars in BKk (or was it in Angeles city) where a young local man and a women would engage in a full, real sex act, not a mock up, lasted for some time before it was taken down, so again, nothing new under the sun.

This is kiddie klub krap. What about...

Pussy "pay" ping-pong. Pussy sa-moke cigalette. Pussy dart "cho" ???? ????

Remember in the 90s watching actual live penetration boom-boom shows in Pat Pong. And lesbo 69 shows + dildos where the gals were made airtight in Nana Plaza. Goldfish and bullfrogs even tooAh...those were the days. :coffee1:

I think you missed the several times that the author mocked the 'concern' of the people who were disappointed that the pristine image of Thailand was being sullied. She quite cleverly took the pi** out of them without quite saying they need to get a life. A well-written article, although I do question, as a journalist, the legitimacy of combining a news item with sarcastic comments. There is news reporting, and there are commentary pieces, and they are not usually combined.

Also in the 90's in Pat Pong, the bars name was Pussy Galore!

Both 'engaging' whilst upon a motorcycle lowered from the ceiling on chains if memory serves me correct!

If this story makes the British tabloids will only encourage more sex tourists to come to Pattaya ????

The Sin city of the world ????
