Ok.  Nonsense!

Welcome... to my ignore List, so you are ---> 😂

Nope not in the slightest, infact I already have two methods for Self-administered euthanasia ready to go..... (always nice to have a backup).

of course no one enjoys pain and suffering.

but from vague recollection, buddhists are opposed to euthanasia.

the pain and suffering does, in their minds at least, serve some purpose, but it escapes me.

been too long since i read that stuff.

Ditto - "Bye bye."

Hi,

I asked before, but I failed to "follow" the topic, so not sure if I got a reply or not....

Bob, I would love to see an actual photo of you, and it seems like you to not have a profile on FB, is that correct?

Is Bob Smith a fictitious name?

Will the real Bob please stand up!!!

Not really. Just always remember that life is not a clock but an hourglass and you never been this old....so try to get <deleted> done before time is up.

Certainly not in any rush as I am enjoying my laidback current retirement existence. But when it comes, no fear … just keep me out of pain and slip me the morphine drip if I end up drooling!

I don't fear death, just hope it's quick, I used to work for the ambulance service, and some of the patients, had the worst quality of life, but they would cling on desperately for each extra day

Death is inevitable, so why fear it?

I find this statistic very disturbing…something out of Brave New World…it used to be that Sweden was the leader in this kind of thing, but how did Canada come to this pass?

Canada just released its annual report into the state of MAID (medical assistance and dying). And as expected, assisted suicide deaths went up last year ... by a lot. In just one year, what the government refers to as "MAID provisions"  increased by 31.2 per cent. Assisted suicide is now Canada's fifth leading cause of death, and that's before the practice is dramatically liberalized next year to include everything from mental illness to drug addiction.

Not of death, just the process. I have an exit strategy. Do you?

Are you afraid of Death?

I don't know, I've not died before.

My only fear is possibly failing to keep up with the TM30 and visa extension financial requirements after I die here.

I suggest you did. Many times, but you obviously do not remember.

One shouldn't be afraid of Death, it can't do you any harm.

Why worry about death no one gets out alive anyway.

Death ...?

The liberation of a free spirit from an aging biological machine .

Always ready for the next step . NO FEAR .

Not existing is an uncomfortable contemplation and certainly not looking forward to it. Have much more planned to, do, see, experience and photograph. However can't say I'm afraid of death. Doesn't keep me up at night. Do my best to avoid it, usually, but it's coming for everyone. We're all on that death clock from the day we are born. Not afraid, but in no hurry. While much of the world seems to be going to 💩, my life here in Thailand certainly isn't.

Not afraid of death just so long as it can let me finish all my projects first

I am not afraid of death but would be very disappointed if it came too soon because I am really enjoying my life now. But then again, it would be hard to be disappointed if I am dead so in the end it does not matter. Perhaps my Thai wife might be disappointed, although with her inheritance she might be somewhat happy.

No, I am hoping to continue my life, enjoying the fruits of my labors for many more years.. I have made arrangements for my wife, so no worries there.. Just hope to keep on greeting the morning sunshine for many more years!!

"Fear of death" is the same as "will to live" or "survival instinct", everybody was born with this "biological imperative

to survive".  It is natural to fear death (survive) but now with reason I don't fear death, but I do fear "suffering at death"

so I have Final Exit on hand and rarely worry/think about death anymore.

My wife of 45 years died this year and my dog a year before that. I'm not interested in rebuilding a different life. Death holds no fear.

I worship 60's Soul, but Rod The Mod did it better.

My wife feinted into a bowl of Khao Soi Noodles. 3 times. Put her right off Khao Soi noodles.

She said, she was there, and then she was not.

As she went face down, she felt bad for me, and then she felt absolutely nothing. (She's had that looked at and is better now).
