They are good, and I even have the German glasses to drink them from. But they cost 3x as much so I don't buy them that often. Cheers Weizen is a pretty decent alternative.

I don't think I have tried the Cheers one yet, will give it a try.

Don't keep us waiting, what does it taste like? I know it's still early but you need to take one for the team and crack it open! 555

I am saving the pleasure until later. Not cold yet.

Judging by the price and the crap bottle/label not expecting too much.

Don't exactly look premium does it?

They also do a passion fruit one which I once picked up by mistake. Even that wasn't bad if you like sweet Weizen. Probably one for the ladies though.

Going to grab a few different beers tomorrow, need my popcorn and beer, going to watch the "Equalizer 3" and maybe the new "Mission Impossible" movie on Amazon Prime this weekend.:drunk:

Chang is Carlsberg by a different name. Delicious. In their former joint venture, Carlsberg took the venture while the partner took the joint. Goodbye Carlsberg, hello Chang. 🥹

Carlsberg Elephant beer in Denmark used to be 8% and a beautiful taste.

Chang does not quite compare, but is OK.

Hope these new ones get to my neck of the woods soon. Tapper is OK at 6.5%.

I bought the lager and the dunkel yesterday as I was getting my Heineken zeros. At 60 baht each it shouldn't put the locals off.  I'll try them when I'm off the wagon again.

Just looked and it was 50 Baht.

50 baht would be a lower price than the competition, though I see someone else just posted he paid 60 baht.

Unsafe definitely.

It may just need the lid taking off and freeing up.

Many use a standard RCBO for a simple fix.

I would put them in the same category as Budweiser, swill.

Hey Watson, do you eat food to get fat? If you can't drink alcohol without getting drunk, you might wish to visit your local AA.

The Automobile Association does not encourage drinking and driving.

Chang does not have the same affect on me as Fartsberg. 🤣😂

Leo did bring out 3 great beers last year, but too expensive and soon disappeared

I quite liked those special hoppy brews in the aluminum bottles, and I can't stand regular Thai beer. Unfortunately, the advertising ban stopped them from getting into the public consciousness, and as you say the 79 baht price was likely too high for the folks looking for the cheapest possible buzz.

its popularity will depend on mostly 1 thing... the price.

thais dont have the finesse, nor the palate to distinguish and enjoy a good beer

"The retail price is expected to be slightly higher than its competitors."

So it's doomed?
