Just talking to a work colleague in his 60's says he was standing at a bus stop (Australia) on Friday night only to have two drunk girls slap him across the face for no reason

 

"I never hit a woman mate " he said

Two drunk young girls he said ,slapping guys on the bus  

 

 

I told him I would of hit them back!   to his shocked look

"You should not hit women mate" he said 

 

I despise of this attitude some men have that women are weaker ,granted ,it's usually the old guys ,but listen please !!!! Times have changed !!!!

I don't even hold doors open for women unless they are elderly

A few years ago in m.walkkng through a street one night in Melbourne Australia to see a young Irish accent couple ,the boyfriend pushing her to the ground ,she looks at me to do something,yeah right ,I walked around them and kept walking !!

 

I treat these women especially these rough ones tatts all over them

 

, part of gangs mugging elderly people have no hesitation in hitting them  back ,

I once saw 4 teenage girls push over a elderly man for his phone  ,and all laughed about it ,no one would get involved as they were girls

 

I don't treat women now any different,carry your own luggage !!!!!

One old man said to me after not helping a lady up the stairs with luggage !!!  He was walking beside her too

Then he comes on here moaning cos were having a go at him.

I did have a Thai female who used to hit just me for fun 

Began hitting me with home appliances and I needed a few stitches 

One day hit her back and letting her know that I could hit much harder than she could 

She then told me that its rather unpleasant to get punched and she would never do it again 

She is now a pacifist who doesn't engage in violence and doesn't hit people anymore

In Vancouver it was teenaged girls stabbing middle aged white men at bus stops, some of whom came close to death.  The girls were caught, given a stern talking to, and had their knives returned to them.

The interesting part is that if all of the middle aged white men called in sick for a week society would collapse. I'm not seeing a lot of competence from the youth and import sectors of the workforce these days. Though I've known plenty of competent white women who are highly conscientious in their work, there aren't enough to keep the lights on or maintain infrastructure.

ON TOPIC to OP ... I'd access the situation, and respond in kind, maybe.  I'm usually of the 'no reason ever to hit a woman', but self defense takes precedence.

While on holiday in Koh Samui some years ago I interacted with two married couples on two Separate occasions, one German and one British.  It was the men who played with their children while the wives sat in their deck chairs looking bored. During conversations with the wives while their husbands were out of earshot both spoke disparagingly about their husbands to me, the lack of respect shocked me, the British woman whose husband was a police inspector said it was a wonder they could go on holiday with the pittance that he earned, "Oh" I replied "what work do you have", "I don't work, I have two school children to look after". The German man seemed cowed by his wife, when I asked if they had just arrived as his wife was so pale, he was distraught, "Don't tell her that she will react badly, it will ruin my day". He was an IT expert, when I mentioned to his wife that her young son had a remarkable vocabulary for his age she remarked, That's down to my husband, he is a university graduate and speaks with the children a lot, at least he's good for something". My thoughts at the time were that both the wives needed a good slapping.

I remember about 2016 I held a door open for a Thai lady with her farang boyfriend,a young muscle guy covered in tatts, this was in South Pattaya , he then started shouting at me 

" I can do that ! That's my lady !

I did specify 'generally' 

 

And I'd be unlikely to hit someone who's that aggressive anyway - male or female. More likely move away if possible - let them go. Sooner or later they'll hit another wall that'll stop them.

 

In the cold light of day someone like that is to be pitied not feared.

There are ways of subduing people like that without hitting them or even tasering them or damaging them in any way. It requires training, practice, skill and a positive mindset - something unfortunately lacking in many police jurisdictions even though they have the resources to implement the training programs.

 

Having said that I'd be unlikely to intervene in a Thai domestic dispute. I know what the probable outcome will be and don't fancy it. But one can still call the police.
