I missed ASEANNOW, so welcome back ASEANNOW, one and all.

 

It was weird not being able to surf through the posts, read, comment, submit a topic and put up with the usual ones that annoy us here at times, it was a bit like not having my car to go somewhere.

 

Hope the speed picks up in due course after the cyber attack.

And please Asiannow pick up the speed!

I had some weird woman trying to talk to me. Apparently we're married.

We are aware of speed issues and the tech people are  monitoring andfine tuning the system for us.

I'd like to wish everyone a very happy new year, for 2025. Hopefully this post will upload before then.

It's slow and barely functioning.

I think it is a scam rumor to keep AS members away from that forum. 

For us boomers, it is not easy to cope with this kind of issues, we are still used to the telegraph you know. Despite that we solved it in more or less than one week. So let's get back to business and forget the past. And you all had one week thinking about how you missed us. Sometimes a little separation can do miracles. Especially in couples, you and aseannow.

I amused myself for a while reading through some of the obituaries in other forums. that had been written about the final demise ASEAN NOW.

 

I'll not repeat what some of them said about us.

 

I was thinking now I may never know how BMT is progressing with his injuries and the legal situation, after the hit and run.

I did take a look at the TD forum, which seemed to be mainly concerned with celebrating ASEAN's demise.

I notice we are back to being unable to delete notifications, hope that is fixed soon.

@george  uploading photos is quite iffy also.  Failing more often than uploading.  Had to post, edit, save, edit, save a few times, just to get 3 photos on a post.  Whether pasting or 'choosing a file'.  Along with increasing the size when uploaded.

Maybe the size (too large), but also took screenshot of same, and tried/failed.  Resized & accepted.

What is the size limit.  Either get the 'upload failed' box, or the 'error' pop up window, with not upload attempt box showing.

 

Trying to paste a screenshot of the last photo '21A' and that failed also.  Along with trying to paste here, failed, even though small photo, but using 'choose file' option succeeded.  Think it still needs a tweak.

Yes, and while you're at it, cut down on the number of clicks needed to delete. One click, 'delete notifications', should be all that's needed.

Still tortuously SLOW and mostly inaccessible far as I can tell. Buttons not functioning correctly. It's a tedious and unusable mess. Webpages in the 90s worked better and faster.
