Sometimes Im bored during the day living here in LOS. Please name your top 2 with a brief note as to why

Mine are as follows:

Websites:

1. thetimes . co . uk      Been reading it for years. Although its now heading towards being a tabloid I still find it good for British news

2. dailyhodl.   Good for crypto news/ updates. With a bitcoin spot ETF coming soon I think everyone should be reading up about bitcoin and buying some.

Podcasts:

1. Diary of CEO.   Amazing interviews with many different people. Learning a lot about many health topics, for example.

2. Bangkok podcast. American and Canadian guy doing a weekly podcast. Mostly Thai related. Highly recommended

Youtube:

1. Thai Expat Daily show:  Irish guy giving excellent commentary on Thai related topics. He's not afraid to give his opinion. He doesn't plagiarise news same as TNT. Worth listening to this guy.

2. Bankless: 2 bright guys discussing all things relating to crypto. Has to be the best crypto channel on youtube IMHO. One can learn a lot from these guys.

Over to you.

I'm lucky got a big family that keeps me busy.

Sad to hear some of you guys get bored here 😮

I'm never bored, if I have some free time I jump on my PCX and zip up and down Pattaya and jomtien beach, pull up at a 7-Eleven or Thai shop for a cold beer, look at the pretties then off for another lap.

I've got a new girlfriend, been together for a year and a half, she's busy with work through the day, evenings maybe out for a meal and a few more beers then off to bed for some special time. 😎

I'm not bored, but I do tend to get up much earlier than the GF so my morning routine is:-

   1. Easy/Medium puzzles from https://www.dailykillersudoku.com/ (The harder one I save for if we're having a night in & she puts on a crappy movie)

   2. Watch ( & do if their solve time is < 45 mins) the 2 Daily puzzles from Cracking The Cryptic https://www.youtube.com/@CrackingTheCryptic/videos

   3. Catch up on UK News Headlines (https://news.sky.com/) & AseanNow.

   4. (Once 7am hits) do the daily Plusword (https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/plusword/)  & of course Wordle (https://www.nytimes.com/games/wordle/index.html) - I do this as a "Competition" with my family back in the UK so it's a good way to ensure we speak daily.

   5. The Guardian mobile app for the daily mini Sudoku, mini crosswords & sometimes the full crossword (No matter how hard I try I cannot get my head around "Everyman"'s crosswords :(

   6. Daily Thai tips from Banana Thai & Learn Thai with Mod

https://www.youtube.com/@BananaThaiSchool

https://www.youtube.com/@ThaiwithMod/videos

... And then back to AseanNow whilst she gets ready to go out :)

Edit: Apart from Cracking the Cryptic, my other YouTube viewing tends to depend on what I'm in the mood for at that time, examples would be...

   1. Lockpicking https://www.youtube.com/@lockpickinglawyer

   2. Card Tricks https://www.youtube.com/@CardMechanic/videos

   3. Computer Security https://www.youtube.com/@davidbombal

   4. Network Security https://www.youtube.com/@NetworkChuck

   5. "Science" https://www.youtube.com/@TheRoyalInstitution

Get off the internet! Go to a spa, sauna, massage, whatever. Lie on a beach. Look at the girls/boys. Maybe even chat to a few. Go for a coffee. Chat to your neighbour.

That's it. I've used up my ¢2.

Sure Thing, Dude! What about all idiots that bought when it reached 50k and believed it would go to 100k? Okay, now up above 37k again. Still a stupid way to play with money.
