The question here is why they decided to strike this convoy. My only guess at the moment is they thought it was Hamas being transported inside. Its well documented they have used ambulances before for their own transport and for weapons. Not saying that's what it was as a full investigation has not been completed but I think there was some serious lack of commination as to who was inside the vehicles. 3

You know, like digging tunnels and bunkers underneath hospitals, using schools for weapons storage, using ambulances to transport terrorists, firing missiles from mosques, etc. So no surprise that the Israelis might have not simply taken them at their word about this particular vehicle. I assume you're unaware the NGOs route had already been cleared with the IDF. 3 1

Perhaps they took an accidental wrong turn and were going in a direction that was not 'approved' by IDF? Not stating anything as fact - just summising a reason why someone in IDF fired missiles at those vehicles. Like many people - I will wait for IDF report and then decide - if there was no extenuating circumstances, then massive pressure will be applied to Israel to stop the 'mistakes'. Yes I know that means Hamas will have 'won' because they will still be there - but too many mistakes is just too many mistakes, and Israel will have to move towards taking a different strategy for dealing with Gaza. 1

Can anyone tell me how much Hamas has done "to protect civilians"? It seems the blame is very one sided. We all know that Hamas' strategy has been to allow and even failitate the deaths of civilians (and Hamas non-military supporters) in order to gain world media attention (headlines like this one) and from that many world leader's support and for that 'pressure' to stop Israel finding and killing/arrresting all of them. But IMO IDF has taken far too long to find and kill/detain Hamas forces - me thinks this will be a truning point and Israel will start developing an alternative stratgey. Perhaps they will leave and just build a bigger wall and refuse anyone from Gaza to enter Israel (like Eqypt does on their border with Gaza). Or perhaps they will try to maintain a presence in Gaza and from there try to enforce law ansd order and have a genberal election which hopefully will remove Hamas from the position of authority. IMO they should just leave and follow Egypt's lead, plus actively target and destroy Hamas cells when they pop back up or build more tunnels. Hamas aint ever going to stop being terrorists and killing military and non-military Jews, and you would have more chance of killing all the coackroaches in New York than eradicating all the Hamas military and non-military supporters - short of nuclear strikes - but the cockroaches would survive that anyway. 1 1

The radical Muslim terrorists like Hamas would willingly press the button and kill everyone in the world, including themselves, if it means that all Christians and Jews will die. They see their own death in the jihad against Chritians and Jews as a positive thing if in doing so also kills them - they see it as gaining extra rewards in the Islamic version of heaven. 1 3

Regarding Netanyahu, seems a lot of Israelis agree: The third day of a four-day anti-government demonstration quickly descended into chaos as protesters holding torches spread through neighborhoods in Jerusalem, heading for the prime minister’s residence. https://www.rt.com/news/595319-israel-protest-netanyahu-residence/ If they did that in New York or London, it would be called out as anti-Semitism. Bkk Brian Posted April 3, 2024 Posted April 3, 2024 British aid workers 'all valued team members', says security firm We're now hearing from Solace Global, the security firm that employed the three British citizens killed in Monday's strike. Speaking to the BBC, non-executive director Matthew Harding says the men were "all valued team members, to whom we were very close" and it was a "tragic loss". He adds that the man were working as "security and safety advisors to the convoy”. He confirms their convoy was hit as they were returning to the compound after delivering food aid.
Popular Post thaibeachlovers Posted April 3, 2024 Popular Post Posted April 3, 2024 17 hours ago, simple1 said: It has been reported the vehicle was hit by a drone as the Israelis thought their was an armed terrorist inside. The vehicle was marked both on the roof and sides identifying as belonging to WCK. WCK had notified the IDF of it's passage per usual protocol. Israelis claiming a mistake was made is a laughable understatement. One hopes the person giving the order to fire faces a jail sentence. According to Al Jazeera the "mistake" didn't happen just the once. It happened 3 times as the three vehicles were attacked in separate locations at different times. Al Jazeera has carried out an investigation and conclude that it was a deliberate action, which I think is self evident. Sadly one suspects the people that ordered the assassinations will never face justice. It's going to be interesting to see how israeli apologists can try to explain this one away. 2 2
