Apparently Trump has a new campaign strategy, which is smaller gatherings and smaller events like the one he did today in NJ where he called it a "press conference".
 

If that's the case, then it's either he's getting even more worried about crowd sizes and/or it's also a cost issue for him.

 

Even Megyn Kelly (at the 3:45 mark in the video) is calling Trump dumb and stupid for his going on and on about Harris having fake AI crowds. He's melting down. 

 

 

Crowd size is a major issue for Trump.

Even his own supporters are pleading with Trump not to keep damaging his own and their campaign by simply name-calling!

Trump will just continue driving himself further down in the poles. Insulting Harris, acting jealous about her bigger crowd sizes, doing only small rallies that have little impact and talking about inflation when it's no longer an issue anymore, it's all the wrong messaging. And immigration at the border isn't worth him mentioning either because he and his party killed the democrat lead bill that would have fixed the problem already. He's got nothing left to say except to act angry and vent his grievances. Nobody wants to hear the same old whining and moaning from him anymore. It's over. 

This is a man who feels tremendous anxiety, very low self-esteem, and is very insecure. He feels the constant need to build himself up, to build up the crowd size, to build up the size of everything surrounding him, to make himself look like a bigger. Most psychologist would agree that this comes from very deep-seated inadequacies. Sizeness, hugeness, everything in his life has always been exaggerated. Frankly I think people are just getting tired of it, his schtick is getting very old. So is he. 

 

Everything about the con-man referred to as Trump is unlikeable. He's everything wrong with the human animal, all stuffed into one specimen.

I don't believe anything Trump says.  If there was an Olympics for lying, Trump would be a multiple gold medalists record holder.  (just paying tribute to the recently completed Olympics.....555)

Correct. It's about costs, and unpaid bills as well.

 

Trump has an unpaid bill of over half a million dollars with the city of El Paso, from when he held a large rally there. Other cities are dunning him for smaller amounts.

 

Trump is notorious for not paying his bills. He boasts it is good business.

 

I suspect, like his lawyers, cities are starting to demand money up front for the permits etc. And he doesn't have the upfront money to run large events.

Trump is definitely having issues with arranging rallies now because he doesn't pay. Makes sense that he stages a rally at his own New Jersey golf course this week for free, and called it a news conference because the space is actually too small to be a rally. Plus he doesn't he want to open up his own privately owned space to the public anyway. 
 

Cities are now wanting money in advance from him before staging rallies (see link below), which could slow things down for him in the rally space.

And what kind of general message does his MO of not paying up send to the American people when a deadbeat, wannabe president like Trump doesn't even pay his own bills?

Well. I opened this thread hoping to see some of his supporters try a disingenuous rationalization for his actions lately. But thus far they've decided to sit it out which is probably the better part of valor. Or maybe they just refuse to humiliate themselves trying to spin it.

 

Just his detractors telling obvious truths (gasp!) about his failures.

Agreed, plus, if another person claimed a highest number of lying medals trump would instantly change the numbers to give himself the medal. 

They should split this soapbox into two. Political soapbox for trump, and political soapbox against Trump. That would quiet things down.

The latest 538.com poll delivers Harris 46.3%  Trump 43.7%. Turning point was July 28.  I expect the Trump booster club to go into full meltdown mode after the Democrat convention bump.  The spread will probably hit 5%. If the Dems can keep the momentum and  it will be full blown crazy mode for some people.
