In a bewildering event yesterday, local students in Pattaya captured a shocking video of a foreigner engaging in inappropriate behaviour on a condominium balcony, sparking strong community reactions and prompting police intervention.

 

At around 5:00 p.m. on August 27, a group of students from a nearby school were alarmed to spot a shirtless man disturbingly rubbing his chest and genitals against a balcony railing. The sight caused significant discomfort among the students, teachers, and nearby parents.

 

Responding swiftly, the students reported the incident to Pattaya City Police, who immediately began an investigation, reported Adam Judd for The Pattaya News.

 

The man, identified as a Kuwaiti national, aged between 25 and 35, on holiday, has since expressed deep remorse and apologised for his actions. He claimed ignorance, believing no one would witness his conduct.

 

The owner of the condominium, whose property's reputation was tarnished by the now-viral video clip, also received a sincere apology from the contrite tourist. Additionally, the man issued a public apology, acknowledging the distress caused to the students and wider community.

 

Pattaya City Police are currently utilising the video evidence provided by the students to pursue appropriate legal action against the man. They have reiterated the unacceptability of such behaviour and issued a stern warning to deter similar incidents in the future.

 

Authorities emphasise the importance of maintaining discretion and respecting community standards to ensure a safe and harmonious environment in Pattaya, a well-known family-friendly resort destination. 

 

Residents and tourists alike are urged to co-operate in upholding the area's reputation, as the police continue their efforts to uphold public decency and safety.

In his own country, a "stern warning" would involve a hundred lashes to his rear end.... or worse.

With so many stories about "Kuwaiti tourists" as of late (I'm pretty sure they don't do this stuff at home), I reinterate my idea that the RTP Immigration Bureau insitute a 72 hour visa for Kuwaiti nationals with a 24 hour hold at the airport to ensure that they had not committed any funny business in the Kingdom before or other countries. After they clear the 24 hold, they are free to travel in Thailand.

These kuwaitis seem to be hitting the headlines a lot recently,they seem to think they can do what they like in thailand,but i suppose if you come from a rich autocratic state that doesnt give a crap about human rights and freedoms then you arrive with a similar mindset.

Yes you are right, maybe extend that to Brits or Germans who might have had sex with underage male or female prostitutes?
