Here we go again, The average IQ of an American is 100. It can only be 100 as it is set that the average is 100. Even if all Americans were mentally subnormal the average IQ would be 100. If they were all genious level the average American would have an IQ of 100. You can claim that Americans have lower IQ's than another country and if you took the average IQ of two countries you could show that Americans were lower in IQ but the average between the two countries would stil be an IQ of 100.

The American working middle class, upon whom any hope of a participatory democracy depends, has justified pent up frustration/anger (oh, I include myself here). I attribute this to the underlying documented economic squeeze occurring over the past decades up to the present. We have an unsustainable income/wealth gap exacerbating the issue. This is the result of the policies, actions/inactions of both major political parties. Compromise may be a necessity but when it results in the issues not being addressed ... well, here we are ... The average American citizen (again the working middle class), is frustrated to the point of being likened to clawing and fighting to get out of the wet paper bag. Which does point to an emotional reaction rather than using any critical thinking applied to the current situation. Trump has a well documented history demonstrating that he certainly is not the answer but ... but Trump is giving voice to the frustration/anger (thus a politically dangerous time as citizens, not thinking, turn to an authoritarian leaning leader to "get things done"). Does the average American citizen have the capability to comprehend this? Sadly, I must conclude I see a lack of evidence. OK, my two satang's worth ...

I am not a US citizen but in my opinion a lot the problems are there because of the parties.There are only two really.

So what you get next is things like,"when you are not with us you are against us " and "you belong to the other side"

I think if you have more parties there is more room for tolerance.

No matter who is elected ,the  people of the USA will have to look in the mirror and decide what to do.

I understand the OP's frustrations.  I feel the same.  It used to be that Americans cared most about the candidates' character.  You know, things like integrity, honesty, decency, morality, etc.  Policies also mattered, but character seemed to be most important.  Trump has none of these character traits.  So yes, I too wonder how anyone can support such a rotten human being.  Do Americans not care about a person's character anymore????

Do you disagree with the fact that the lab was, at least in part, financed by the USA?
